I stayed 2 nights with my friends. The accommodations are very nice and clean. The hostess was friendly all the time, helping us with everything. The b&b is conveniently located about 15 minutes from Quay St. where there are a lot of bars and restaurants and 5min from the beach . I would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The accommodations were really nice the owners were incredible. The right balance of helpful but not being over bearing. The location was incredible both in regard to its location within Galway and the ability to get to near by attractions(we did Connemara National Park). I would highly recommend this B&B to all and would...

The Liskea House was excellent! The hosts were very welcoming, and helpful. The b&b is conveniently located about 15 minutes from Quay St. where there are a lot of bars and restaurants. They are also about a 5 minute walk from the water. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time. Room was comfortable, clean and well equipped, breakfast was delicious, the hostess was friendly and advised us on things to do in the area. Bnb is a 15 minute walk from galway city and even closer to the lovely salthill prom. Would gladly stay there again!

This little B&B is on a side street about a 15 minute walk from downtown Galway. We stayed 2 nights here and walked everywhere we wanted to go. Safe, quiet, and comfortable, we ended our 1 1/2 week here with a wonderful nap after a great breakfast, then hit the town for the rest of the day. Galway ended up...

We were so fortunate to find Liskea House, the proprietor Kathleen Melvin was so helpful and kind. The rooms are spacious and very clean all rooms ensuite with never ending HOT water. Close to downtown Galway and Salthill. Lovely Irish, or continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

While I was there I didn't feel welcomed nor encouraged to ask about the city of Galway. I was handed a map which was illegible and that was that..The hosts were okay but didn't seem too caring about their guests' needs. I hardly ate any breakfast because after tasting the orange juice and finding it was bad, I couldn't trust...

I think that thsi B&B is located at the best palce of Galway. Salthill is 5 minutes walk and the old town 10 minutes. Kathleen is very helpful and gives accurate information on anything asked. Good Irish breakfast, plenty of parking space (free)

We arrived in Galway near dark and didn't have a place to stay. We almost stayed at a sketchy B&B but at the last minute got ahold of Liskea Houses' number. We weren't sure how to get there so they went out of their way to collect us! It is located in a perfect spot: away from the hustle and...

I had wanted to stay in the Salthill area of Galway, but when we arrived, we had difficulty finding an empty room. It was close to the weekend and in the middle of a heatwave in May 2012 - so everyone was at the beach. No one was home. Kathleen, the homeowner, was a lifesaver (After a neighbor called around...
