The first B & B we found was fully booked but the owner rang Mike and he had a vacancy in Kilbree house - in Circular Road off the main road. The room was very large and on ground floor level. The towels are thick and fluffy and need commenting on. There was also a lovely front garden. The hosts... More

We stayed here for one night and the couple that owns it are super friendly. He recommended places to eat and they were great. We walked everywhere from here. Close to Quay St, Salt Hill, and the college.

We knew we would always return to Kilbree House and we did this past weekend for 2 nights. We were exhibitors at the Home Improvement Show in Galway and booked into Kilbree House. Once again we arrived and stayed in the most gorgeous spacious, clean inviting B&B we have ever stayed in. Mike and Annette were their usual welcoming selves.... More

Our stay was just one night, but was wonderful. The rooms was clean and well appointed. The hospitality of our hosts were just right, anything we needed with all the privacy we wanted. This is a short drive from the city center which just what we were looking for. Breakfast was all you could ask for.

From the moment you arrive, you feel at home. Mike and Annette are so relaxed and inviting. The views from the coffee room and the balcony over Lough Corrib are superb. Circular road is quiet and has lovely views at the top of the hill overlooking the city of Galway. Lovely walks, a local corner shop and convenient to town.... More

Mike & Annette have a fabulous business that reflects their open and generous nature. The room we stayed in was modern and well appointed. The linen was good quality, clean and fresh. The breakfast in the morning was cooked to perfection every time and Mike & Annette could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We will certainly be booking... More

Everything about Kilbree house was great from the warm welcome to the excellent facilities. There was a great selection for breakfast as well. The location was ideal for us as we were attending a wedding at the Westwood House Hotel, which is a five minute walk. It's a short walk to the university and short drive or 15 minute walk to... Only one short night but such a nice place. Parking was easy in a free large carpark Firstly on entry - sweets on arrival. Really good quality boiled lollies and nice choc biscuits. Our room was spacious and comfy - Immaculate with everything so perfectly presented. An incredibly comfy large bed - as good as any 5 star hotel. The... More

We had a short one-night stay at Kilbree house family room. The owners are very friendly and nice people, we truly felt welcome. The house and the rooms are nice and clean, beds comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! The only thing on the negative side is that the room was a bit cold during the night. We enjoyed our stay... More

It was a very cute bed and breakfest with great views of galway. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We woke up to late for the breakfest unfortunately but the bed was to comfortable to wake up! I highly suggest staying here if in galway
