We really enjoyed stayng at Griffin lodge. The rooms were very clean, comfortable with good bathrooms. The location was quiet but within easy walking distance to Galway. Anne, the manager was really great. She was fun, kind and made a delicious Irish breakfast. Heartily recommended.

This is a wonderful place. Breakfast is really great here The hostess is wonderful and treats you like family. I have been twice. Close enough to Galway town to walk but not in city center. I originally chose this place because music pubs are nearby, but I have never got around to visiting those music pubs. Rooms are nice.

Stayed at Griffin Lodge on Saturday, May 18, for one night with four friends as part of whirlwind trip to Galway. Very comfortable rooms, clean beds and excellent breakfast provided by mine hostess, Ann, a most welcoming and charming lady. Would definitely come here again.

We stayed at Griffin lodge for 3 nights during our 2 week tour of Ireland and it was my favorite place that we stayed (out of 7 different places). Comfortable beds, great water pressure and very close to all the fun things in Galway. Anne, who runs the B&B was great! She had the ears of a cat, and knew... More

We were travelling around Ireland and hadn't prebooked anywhere. We literally knocked on a few doors and settled on the Griffin. Ann was so welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was a good base from which to explore and the breakfast was brilliant. We absolutely loved Galway and on reflection of our trip would have liked an extra night or... More

To say that this B&B hostess is helpful would be a huge understatement. We were treated royally. Ann gave great directions, made dinner reservations for us, cooked a wicked breakfast. And her warmth and sense of humor was refreshing and second to none in Ireland. The B&B is walking distance to the town center, beds comfortable. But it's the cozy... More

Stay close to Galway city in a very comfortable B&B. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast and atmosphere is amazing. The best though is the hostess manager, Ann. She is very friendly, helpful and one of the best hostesses in Ireland. Ann was recommended to us when we were traveling in Dingle by another American couple. They said... More

If you want to be close to the huzzle and buzzle, but just not in it , and like a good nights sleep, look no further. This is the one place where you will find it all. Excellent location, easy walking distance, a great breakfast and best of all a warm, honest and heartfelt welcome.

Very glad we chose this B+B. Very close walk to the town center, great price, amazing breakfast spread and awesome atmosphere and experience. The owner, I believe her name was Ann was great. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and clean and when we needed another night, Ann had had no problem with it. It was very nice... More

The location was key since you could walk to town within 5 minutes and the room was cozy and warm ( we had heard stories from friends that other B&Bs didn't have heat so it was nice that this one had heat). The owner was so friendly and flexible with the time we arrived, parking, and breakfast choices. She made... More
