A wonderful place to stay if you are spending a couple of days in Galway, the most beautiful city of Ireland. The atmosphere is luminous and cosy. The room was clean and comfortable, only the bathroom was a bit too little. I give my compliments to the chefs (Emer and Russell) for the delicious breakfasts....you could choose between 4 kind of...

My wife and I live in Galway city but wanted a room in the city for a couple of nights around our wedding. Hotels were ruled out due to cost. We came across The Stop by chance and were delighted. It's in a perfect location -- city centre but all importantly westside of the river. Great food, I wanted to...

My family and I stayed at The Stop at the end of July. Russell and Emer were very welcoming and a huge help in arranging a tour of the Aran Islands during our stay. We loved that the B & B is very close to the city center, yet out of the hustle and bustle of it all. Our breakfasts...

All the staff at the stop b&b were extremely helpful with an early breakfast one day, and tips about good places to eat another evening. The bedroom was spacious, though the bathroom was on the small side. The location is excellent for the delights of downtown Galway, and the bus for the excursion to the Aran Islands was happy to...

The Stop is in a great location, the breakfast was delicious, as were the homemade cookies! Russell and Emer were very friendly and helpful. It was, I think, hotter than usual in Galway, so it was a little warm at night. I think a little fan for such warm nights would be good. Otherwise, everything was great and I would...

The stop b&b is beautifully decorated, comfortable, homely, and perfectly located five minutes' walk away from all the fun of Galway city centre. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly, giving us wonderful suggestions of places to visit in the surrounding countyside, and breakfast was delicious. A perfect b&b! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Galway!

I have only good things to say about Killcullen House. Russell was very friendly and helpful and lugged our heavy suitcase up the stairs for us. Within minutes, he had arranged for our day trip the next day to the Aran Islands, and handed us a map of the city center, with favorite eating places clearly marked and described. The...

The Stop is a lovely surprise just the right distance from the main drag in hyper Galway. As soon as you walk in, you know this is someone's special project. Far from the creak of the standard B & B, The Stop is bright and friendly, with a spacious downstairs lounging room full of art books, where you can make...

We absolutely loved this B&B. Russell offered an excellent orientation to the home and city upon arrival with a map personalized with his favorite places to go (all of which we enjoyed!). While we were there, my husband locked the keys in our rental and Vicki and Russel made many calls on our behalf which was much appreciated and very...
