We had the pleasure of staying at the Swallow B&B in September 2013, but have been remiss in writing a review until now. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Jimmy was 'manning' the place as Patricia was out of town and what an absolutely delightful man! We were given the choice of several rooms in the main house...

This must be the 5th or 6th time I have stayed at the B&B and it is my first call when I have need to travel to Galway. Patricia and Jimmy make me feel so at home, its as though I am at home. I lost a button of my best shirt just before going out to a meeting and...

The location is great, 10 min walk to city center and 10 min the other way to the Salt Hill neighborhood. The place is welcoming and the owners are very nice. The rooms are a bit small but they have their own bathrooms with hot showers. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the Swallow last month for two nights whilst visiting friends in Galway. I was greeted by Jimmy and Patricia, who could not have been more welcoming and helpful. I wanted to do some sightseeing whilst on my trip and Jimmy booked me a bus and assisted me with any questions I had. Room was lovely, clean, fresh...

They can help with the booking of day trips and advise on activities to do while in Galway.Breakfast is tasty and substantial. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I really loved the free wifi. This was my second stay in the Swallow, and...

We stayed here for 3 nights and the place is a great value. It is between Galway downtown and Salthill, both of which are just a short walk away. The hosts are great people and will point you in the right direction for whatever you need. The rooms themselves are a little dated but fresh towels and room turnovers occur...

This is a great B&B and it's location is wonderful being just a short walk to City Centre. The room was comfortable, the breakfast tasty, the price was reasonable, and Jimmy and Patricia are great hosts! I wholeheartedly recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Galway!

I came to stay in the Swallow Bed and Breakfast a couple of years ago and with a recent wedding to attend in Galway I didn't hesitate to re-book. It was lovely to Jimmy and Patricia again, they were as welcoming as always and even remembered me from my last trip which added a really personal touch! The swallow is...

As soon as you arrive at the Swallow B&B you are made to feel like family. Jimmy and Patricia welcome all visitors with open arms. Patricia is always on the go making sure any requests are responded to immediately with Jimmy taking the role of meeter and greeter, this works so well as Jim's knowledge is second to none regards...
