Very pretty interior with all the amenities; perfectly located for walking (which is essentially what you do) Galway. Popular hotel, near the Spanish Wall, Galway Bay, all the shops, restaurants and pubs. Good breakfast, free Irish newspapers and friendly staff. House Hotel is popular, at least when we were there, with young tour groups. It's a good deal for two-three...

Spent three nights here. Really central location, but double row windows provide sound insulation. Very comfortable beds. Rooms are bright and the decor is very funky. Lovely breakfast. Popular with hen party groups at weekends.

arrived on a saturday afternoon, wedding guests all in the lobby, very dark lobby would say this hotel is 3 star at best, the room was large and bed comfortable, but the hairdryer was held together with sellotape that looked like it had been like it for a while, ate in the prom restaurant, my partner used his knife on...

The House hotel is well appointed, quite stylish hotel. The rooms are a good size and nicely furnished. The hotel is on a busy junction and there was quite a bit of noise in the morning as Galway got moving. Ask for room on the inner side of the building.

Had a very pleasent stay at the House Hotel recently, during some lovely weather. Galway was looking very well in the Sunshine and the House Hotel was a good choice. Overnight car parking in a nearby car park was €8, on arrival at the city centre property ( just a short walk from Shop/ quay st.), the very Pink decor...

Was booked here by an agency for 3 nights. Worst hotel of our trip to Ireland. The hotel is situated at the junction of 3 noisy traffic streets. The hotel caters mainly to women's events and hen parties so the lobby and bar are decorated strangely. We had the misfortune of staying here on a Friday night when the loud...

The hotel is in a great location. One street off the pedestrian walk so not quite so noisey. Very close to everything. The room was large and the beds were great. The lobby and bar area are interesting. Kind of like stepping into Alice in Wonderland meets the 70's but fun to look at. Breakfast was good but don't order...

This is a great boutique hotel situated right in the Latin Quarter, with all the shops and cafes within less than a minute from the front door. We enjoyed a lovely veggie breakfast. Helpful staff and very clean room with comfortable bed/bathroom. Rooms are not overly big but adequate as a base when really we were out most of the...

We stayed one night here, and really enjoyed it. It was the day after our wedding in Galway, and we got two glasses of champagne on the house - a nice touch. We had a good lunch at the restaurant and the breakfast spread was excellent with a mix of buffet and a la carte service. The room size and...

Wanted to stay in town but a little removed from it all and this was the perfect location. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. I knew it was going to be a busy weekend and requested a room in an area that wouldn't be so noisy and my room was perfect. The room itself was large and very...
