College Crest may be close to the city centre but there are definitely nicer places to stay in Galway. The room was quite basic but the bathroom was not clean at all. Mould was covering the shower head and the curtains. Luckily enough, we only...More
Good location a few minutes walk to town.
Parking on private forcourt. Good full Irish breakfast. On our particular stay noise from other guests arriving back from night out in early hours detracted a little from stay.
Positives - location, room comfort, nicely cooked eggs.
Negatives - cat in the kitchen!! Spraying strong smelling cleaner while guests are eating breakfast (very off putting). Also parsley has no place on a breakfast plate. No wifi in the room.

Hello! We are travelling to Ireland for the first time in October. We have never stayed at a B&B before, and don't know what to expect. Do the rooms at this B&B have their own ensuites? And as we are looking forward to the pubs and live irish music in Galway, is it a problem to arrive back late at night? Thanks for sharing your experiences!

The only disadvantage of this place is that it's a ways away from the pubs. (By the way, go to Crane's Bar!)
