This place is lovely, spotlesly clean and a super location. Breakfast is beautifully served and delicious. Above all the owners are warm and generous people. We lost our keys to our rental car and they were very helpful to us going above and beyond what could be expected.

We arrived early for our brief one night stay at Marless House, and Mary welcomed us right in. She settled us in our bright twin room, armed us with the bus route and a map for Galway city center, and away we went for the day. That evening after our walk up the promenade into Salthill for dinner, we enjoyed...

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mary at Marless House! The dear woman answered each of my numerous emails prior to our arrival with complete thoughtfulness. She was just as amazing once we arrived. You could tell the other guests all felt the same as she would sit with us and chat at breakfast. It was catching and you'd...

We have been coming to Mary's and Tom's wonderful B&B for over 24 years and have never been disappointed. Immaculately clean, thoughtful detail for guests' comfort, and just a few steps away from Galway Bay. You can walk to a few really good restaurants and bars (maybe 3/4 mi.) but what makes this B&B really outstanding is the sincere warmth...

We recently spent three nights with Mary and Tom at Marless House. Words cannot express what a gracious hostess Mary is! We were warmly welcomed with tea and biscuits as we settled in. Mary provided us with a wealth of information about sights of Galway city, local tours, recommended several restaurants, and suggested pubs with scheduled music. Once we decided...

Mary was wonderful even when we showed up early morning after flying overnight from the states. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were extremely clean! The breakfast was so delicious and we looked forward to it each morning. The afternoon coffee and tea was so nice too. The home is a quick walk down to the water which is...

We stayed with with Mary and Tom in August 2013 on our first visit to beautiful Galway. Our 12 year old son still raves about the 'best breakfast ever'! Mary is a wonderful host who made our stay top notch. Salthill is a lovely place to stay, right on the beach and in walking distance to good restaurants and pubs....

Beautiful, clean B&B near waterfront just 3 km (2 miles) from Galway City Centre, with ability to walk or take bus to city centre. Irish hosts have been running this B&B for 33 years, and they are happy to share their knowledge of Ireland with their guests. Great Irish breakfast. Free parking.

I felt like a family guest of Mary's. Tom was away, but I enjoyed hearing about him and the family. Such a lovely home, great breakfast, great room, and outstanding hospitality. I couldn't have asked for a better stay for two nights with my twin college age daughters!

Lovely stay! Great breakfast. Warm welcoming by the lovely landlady! :-) Galway as such may be a bit too touristic, but go west along the coast instead. Close to the nice villages along the coast towards Connemara and to ferry/flight to Aran Islands.
