Mea culpa. Didn't read the reviews prior to staying in this bed and breakfast. Never again. The place stank of smoke. It made it very hard to sleep with lack of clean air. Also the room was dingy and filthy. I felt it was very unhygienic and uncomfortable to sleep in. I imagine the proprietor of this poor excuse for...

... but I mistakenly it seems assumed that "bed and breakfast" meant what it said. When we arrived there were tables laid and ready for breakfast the next morning, but when we got up, no one in sight and the breakfast room was locked.

Nice big room, bed comfortable. Small bathroom with easy to regulate shower. Smelt a bit of smoke, but once you are used to it, it is liveable. Very close to city centre - easy short walk, and your'e in town.

So this is going to be the worst review I have ever written. I'll stick to the facts. Smell in the place reminiscent of student days.... must, garbage, smoke. Unclean floors, torn furniture. Beautiful paintings on the wall and the host is quite helpful as pluses. Room: doorknob falling off, obviously dipped bed, plug in heater for heat, thin duvet,...

I stayed here last night as I was meeting a few friends for dinner around the corner. The only 2 things going for it are the location close to town & the fact that it's not too expensive. I stayed in the single room. First thing I noticed was that there were a few hairs on the sheets. Questionable if...

We went to check in early and we were told to return at appropriate check in time at 15:00. When we arrived back at 3 there was nobody there. The home and mobile number were going straight to voicemail. We waited and hour and left. We attempted again and had to seek alternative accommodation. We were only staying for 1...

The room was shabby and needed a good cleaning. There were cobwebs and spiders in the room and mould in the bathroom. I don't mind basic, but it needs to be clean. Breakfast was ok and the lady was nice. Good location and you can walk to the city centre in about 10 - 15 mins.

Firstly I must admit that I did not stay here due to the good fortune of a "broken shower"....However, I believe this is due to the owner purposefully overbooking the rooms as he expects people to leave and some poor souls will have no choice but to stay. We were left waiting outside the building for over an hour, we...

I had no choice but stay here for 2 nights as it was all I could afford. The place was not cleaned from the people who were here before me! And I couldn't find the owner anytime after I checked in to even tell him! I took my makeup off the first night and went to put a cotton bud...
