Located in a quiet area with easy access to the town centre and surrounding area, Carranross was an excellent choice on our part as to where to stay for our three days in Killarney. Mary was most hospitable and her past experience as a tour guide showed through. She had many suggestions on what to do, where to eat, etc....

We cannot fault this whole experience, from the warm welcome at Carranross House, by Mary and her family, and not forgetting Roxy, and the breakfast that helped us through the day, to the warm comfortable room that was clean and bright, nice and big with a bathroom I would like in my own home! We definitely hope to visit again!

We were a group of 8 who had 2 twin rooms and a family room. Mary could not have been more accommodating. We had a late addition on our trip and she moved an extra twin bed into the family room which was still very roomy. We stayed for 2 nights in comfortable, CLEAN, rooms. The breakfasts were tasty. She...

We had a wonderful stay with Mary in Killarney. About a 10-15 minute walk into town and easy access to main roads/National Park. The bedroom and bathroom were HUGE and very comfortable and the breakfast each morning was delicious. Mary was very accommodating, helping to advise between Kerry and Dingle (decision was made based on weather- Dingle won and it...

Stayed here for two nights when my friend came to visit me in Ireland. Our room was HUGE with a pressure shower (these are not so common in Irish homes) and very clean. Mary was very warm and welcoming, and immediately recommended things to do and see in Killarney and Kerry. Breakfast was super yummy and her homemade scones in...

Spent three nights here and could easily stayed longer. Bedroom was large with a massive bed and the bathroom was huge. Very well presented and perfectly clean. Host Mary was really helpful and very knowledgeable on all the local places of interest and helped us to manage our time and find the best restaurants. Good location, just a short walk...
