We arrived after a long day of hiking, touring and driving to a warm welcome, a splendid room and a table waiting for us for dinner. The accommodations are top notch and very comfortable. After a wonderful nights sleep we had a delicious breakfast and PC helped guide us towards a day exploring Killarney and Declan made sure we had everything we needed including water and umbrellas. They made dinner reservations for us and pointed us to a pub for music and good craic that evening.
We wish we could have stayed longer and not enough can be said for the service. We hope to return!

Staying here was BY FAR the best decision we made for our entire trip (and we stayed at 5 different hotels). My only regret was not staying here longer or choosing a more luxurious room (options were limited due to my late booking & I wish I upgraded from a 'classic king' (which was fine but I'm sure their upgraded rooms are even more of a dream!)). Incredible service all the way around - from the initial greeting upon arrival, to the wonderful Jenny at the front desk (with the most gracious welcome I've ever experienced at check-in), to the helpful concierge team (ready to help with suggestions, reservations, maps), and a special thank to Brian for helping me quickly dine at The Garden Bar just as they were closing (he literally saved the day!). Beds, pillows, and linens were incredibly comfortable (the softest of our trip), the water was delicious, and the complimentary snacks were appreciated. Breakfast in the morning was a dream - incredible service by all - especially a kind gal in glasses who I failed to get her name. I was and continue to be blown away by what a lovely experience it was here and would highly recommend it to anyone! Our room was on the street side, and if I were to go again, I would request an inner room (unless you plan to be out on the town). It was a Saturday night and the noise died down relatively early (I believe around 11p or so), but I was not expecting to hear any noise. Do not let this deter you from staying here - it's in a prime location and is a wonderful experience - every team member is on the top of their game, and it was felt and appreciated very much. I wish all hotels could be like this!

This special hotel exemplifies all the wonder and beauty of Irish hospitality. From the moment we pulled up outside the front we were greeted by concierge who took our car off our hands, offered to charge it and look after our bags.
We were then greeted like long lost family at reception by Norma and Ciaran who made the check in process a seamless experience. Norma then happens to mention she’s upgraded us to the Muckross Suite, the best room in the hotel. We felt very special and incredibly welcome.
Ciaran proceeded to show us around, took us to our room, and left us feeling especially grateful. My wife, in particular, was most touched by the size of the room with its own large lounge and kitchen together with a separate other bedroom and ensuite. Incredible.
We ate at Peregrine on the first night and were wowed by both the food and service. I’ll separately review it. But I will mention Agatha, one of our waitresses, who was especially warm, efficient and generous.
We also enjoyed breakfast in Peregrine each morning. It’s a full table service with a menu that has plenty of flexibility. Each of our breakfasts were lovely but we’d mention the scrambled egg (cooked superbly) and the French toast that toasted more like a donut and who doesn’t like a donut! Carol served us most mornings and exemplified the warm customer service that we’d come to appreciate.
We had a game on the full sized billiards table and were joined by some America guests and the 6 of us had much fun attempting to sink the balls while getting to know each other. The hotel also has a lovely library which is quiet and draws bookish types like myself into its liminal wonder.
Check out was similar efficient and friendly. We left Killarney Park wonderfully refreshed hoping that one day we will return and knowing it will always feature highly on our ‘best hotels’ list.

Of all of the hotels I have EVER stayed in this tops the list. From the moment we sat down to privately check in and were presented with lemonades and rose punch on a silver platter to the receptionist personally taking us to our room, the staff here is beyond professional, charming, eager to please and genuinely friendly. Robes and slippers provided for our whole family and she even was quick to point out the entirely complimentary snacks and drinks in room fridge. The hotel is gorgeous and maintained excellently. We borrowed the bikes and had a glorious ride around the National park! Concierge eagerly booked us dinner and made fabulous recommendations for live music. Hotel bar has a great vibe with nice peppy jazz music. And breakfast was amazing. When the tray of pastries was brought the waitress specifically said we could ask for more of anything. She poured our coffee and the OJ tasted fresh squeezed. The staff are what make this place truly extraordinary. They should run a training program for everyone in the hospitality industry. They truly made us feel special and were not at all snooty. As a side note this place was so good we were left looking at each other thinking what did we pay? Yes it’s expensive but our family of four stayed in a family room that they offered to bring a roll away in to so that each child had their own bed. In other hotels we have had to book two rooms which becomes more expensive than this family room. Book it. You won’t regret it!

We stayed at the Killarney Park Hotel over the Halloween bank holiday weekend and had a fabulous stay! From the minute we landed, we received top class service.
We pulled up to the front door and had the car parked for us, our luggage unloaded and brought to our room! Our 4-year-old was delighted to be handed a packet of sweets while we were checking in. We were then brought to our room by the lady at reception and shown around. Our room was beautiful exceeded all expectations with some complimentary chocolate, crisps and water.
For the Bank Holiday weekend, the hotel was serving complimentary prosecco, Halloween themed cupcakes, tea, coffee and lemonade in a lovely room off the foyer, this was a real treat as the weather was awful outside!
We then used the pool and our 4 year old was delighted to get a matching robe and slippers to ours, the pool can be accessed without going through reception area and hats and towels were provided. Pool area is amazing, with a hydro pool and outdoor jacuzzi area!
We ate in the bar that night with top class service and beautiful food.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant and came in afternoon tea style with scones, pastries, yoghurts, muffins, fruit and we order cereal, a fry, pancakes and an omelette. all very tasty!
We stayed for 2 nights and cannot wait to go back! It was our first time in Kerry, and we hope to get back soon to see more of the county.
Highly recommend The Killarney Park Hotel. The location is amazing, and service is like nothing I've ever experienced before, especially the exceptional treatment my child received, he was delighted to get so much attention :)

First to echo every positive review given about the staff. The customer service is truly exceptional. Everything was superb, perfectly located if you don't have a car for all the restaurants and bars of Killarney as well as Killarney House and Gardens across the road. We stayed in a premium room which had its own sitting room area with a gas log fire which was very cosy. It also had a balcony. The bathroom was huge with a bath and separate shower. Breakfast served at your table was very good and small touches like fresh milk delivered to your room to use with the tea and coffee provided was well received. My husband used the swimming pool, hot tubs and the library and was pleased with all. Nice atmosphere in the bar which was well used in the evenings. We will definitely return.

The absolute best place to stay! The hotel was quaint and lovely, the staff were very attentive and always willing to go the extra mile. The bar was a wonderful place to hang with friends after a day of golfing. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the town by foot or the adjacent national park. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay the week we were in Ireland. We had a huge problem with shipstix, that Padraig Casey helped us resolved even though we had already checked out of the hotel. The rooms were wonderful and the beds/linens/pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My wife and I spent 3 nights here in a 2nd floor executive room. The room was large and extremely well appointed. It basically was a very large junior suite. The mini-bar was stocked with free non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, The room had a gas fireplace, two televisions and a balcony. The balcony was large but the view wasn’t very good - plastic hedge and hotel equipment. Best to get a balcony on higher floors.
The bathroom was huge with two sinks, shower, bathtub and a tv. The shower had five heads and was tremendous.
The hotel is very centrally located - you can walk to a wide variety of restaurants and bars.
Parking is free and valet parking is available.
The common areas are very nice. Ambience was similar to a country club or a resort, partly because there were a lot of golfers there during our stay.
An a la cart breakfast was included in our room rate. The full breakfast is available @ 7:00 while an early continental breakfast is available @ 6:30 am. Service and food were both very good.
We had dinner at their Garden Bar and Terrace restaurant. It was very good.
The hotel is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. I wasn’t aware of that when I booked. It’s possible that you can a get a deal through their website.
Highly recommended.

Gorgeous hotel, even lovelier staff. We booked this hotel expecting good service - we received far better than “good” service, it truly was top tier.
We were upgraded to a premium room and had wonderful interactions with all staff - I would recommend having bread and butter pudding and a drink in the library near the fire. A game of chess by a cozy game was a perfect way to end a chilly Fall night.
We also booked coinciding with the Quest race which we didn’t know and the staff was very kind and helpful to pointing to alternative day adventures in the area that lay outside of the Park / Ring of Kerry.
My only recommendation lays with the bedding - the duvet was soft and luxurious, but the sheets were scratchy. Perhaps they had wool in them?

I stayed in The Killarney Park for my mum's 50th birthday last week. I can't put into words how amazing the whole experience was. The staff both on the phone and in-house were so helpful in giving my mum the best birthday weekend. Mary and Norma were amazing to deal with and did everything that they could to make our stay as relaxed and as special as it possibly could be.
The hotel itself was amazing! The swimming pool and outdoor Jacuzzi were a highlight of the stay. I will definitely be checking out the spa facilities the next time that I visit as the hotel as a whole had such a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Everything was amazing... even the changing rooms and showers at the pool were beautiful!!
The breakfast in the morning was out of this world. Once again, the staff couldn't do enough for us and were always around to ensure that we got the breakfast that we wanted. I am a coeliac and the range of gluten free options at breakfast were to die for. I had an Omlette and the waitress ensured that nothing was contaminated and that I got a totally coeliac friendly meal. As well as a totally gluten free Omlette, I was offered gluten free toast and pastries which I find is a rarity in most hotels in Ireland. It was truly excellent!!
All in all, our stay was more than I could've ever imagined. I will definitely be returning to The Killarney Park in the future for a real staycation!

I did not use the laundry service but can confirm that it exists. I heard a receptionist telling a guest to allow for one to two days for items to be returned. Don’t know if this helps….you may want to contact the hotel directly.
Hello Ciara,
Thank you for your message. Yes we have a television in the bar and also on our terrace off the bar area.
Hope this helps.
Thank you,
Marcus
Good day and my apologies for not getting back to you sooner as I just caught this today. We were all in one bedroom suites so I'm not familiar as to what a two bedroom looks like but I would guarantee there are multiple TVs and given the class of this property I would guess there are multiple bathrooms as well. To answer all the questions I Deleigh I would go to their website and it would show you the pictures that I didn't provide in my review but I do know they have an amazing spa down in the lower level a great restaurant and within walking distance of a ton of other great places to eat and enjoy night life. Hope that helps👍
Regards
Paul
