Charming setting and Kathy was a great hostess! Room was large and welcoming. Wonderfully cozy lounge area with wood burning stove. Fantastic breakfast menu: Eggs Benedict and traditional Irish among other things. Lovely to have hair dryer available!! Downsides: free wifi was not strong enough to reach bedroom area, ran out of hot water for shower in the morning and... More

Kathy was a perfect host. We were welcomed and quickly shown to our room. Kathy had a map of the area (she had prepared the map) and pointed out some highlights. Breakfast was great. Kathy offered choices and prepared our meals quickly. I'll definitely recommend this B&B to others!

BEAUTIFUL!!! Kathy was the perfect hostess. The sitting room was very comfortable and cozy, the rooms bright and private. Breakfast was completely amazing each and every morning we were there. Lots of variety and cooked to perfection. We will definitely stay here if we are ever in Ireland again.

We loved our stay at the applecroft house. Our room was one of the largest rooms that we stayed in in all of Ireland so it was nice to have a little room! We brought our son with us and he loved running around in the yard and seeing the chickens. They even let him feed them which he loved!... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were a good size, and the host, Kathy was very friendly. She helped us with info on Killarney and where we could park, etc. Also accommodated my special request for pancakes at breakfast.

Three of us stayed at the Applecroft house for 3 nights. Kathy is a wonderful host. Very willing to help with suggestions about the local area, things to do, etc. Teddy (the family pet) is part of the welcoming committee too. Breakfasts were excellent, with several choices available. (Try the french toast. Really good.) The Applecroft house is pretty convenient... More

Some pro’s: • It’s in a quiet location, a pleasant place to stay away from traffic and noise • You are... More

We absolutely loved this place! The view from the windows, the hospitality, the food... everything was perfect. There are even some chickens and a pig outside of the house. If you're headed to Killarney, this is the place to stay.
