We stayed for 5 nights and couldn't fault a thing. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is superb, Greta and Alfie are wonderful hosts. The location is excellent, just 5 minutes walk into town. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Algret House. It's located very close to the town (5 min walk). The room was big enough and clean, the breakfast with the homemade scones was also great. Algret took very good care of us! I can recommend Algret House to everyone who visits Killarney.

Located on quiet side street within walking distance to town. Plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful hostess, Greta. Room and ensuite were spacious. Beds were comfortable and rooms had good noise insulation. Plenty of outlets for electronics charging. Breakfast good especially porridge with cream and honey and Greta's homemade scones. Plenty of great advice on local area restaurants and attractions....

If you're going to Killarney (and you should; it's a great town right by Killarney National Park), stay at Algret House. In the past, I've stayed at one of the hotels in town. This time, I elected to stay at Algret House. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood, an easy 10-minute walk to the high street, restaurants, pubs and...

Greta was an incredible host. She had everything ready for us, even though we arrived a bit late. We had the "small" room of the house, and it was more than enough. Very clean and with a mountain view. She has a large dining area for breakfast in the morning. She has a menu to choose what you'd like. The...

We and my boyfriend did an Ireland roadtrip in November. We wanted to see real Ireland with its winds and rains. Killarney was a lovely a bit touristy town with lots of hotels and b&bs. Algret House was a practical choice, because you can reach all the attractions easily by taking a short walk, but still is located in a...

Greta and Alfie are great hosts. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Food is excellent! Just a short walk to town, maybe about 3 blocks. Town is easy to get around in. Ring of Kerry tour was beautiful and Greta booked it for and we were picked up at the B&B.

Arrived here without reservation in February. Greta, the host, was very friendly and helpfully providing information about Killarney. Rooms are small but offer great sleeping quality. For breakfast, one can choose among several options such as full Irish etc. The B&B is located at a 10 mins walking distance from Killarney center. WIFI works perfectly fine.
