The house was a spacious open plan one bed, first floor (2nd if you're from the US) of a stable conversion, with bathroom and lobby downstairs on the ground floor. Very light airy feel to the place with a nice kitchen, dining area, living area with TV, sofas and a wood burning fire and a very large sleeping area with... More

This is our fifth stay at the Courtyard Cottages. Myra Daly, the proprietor, makes us feel like family. The cottages are very well equipped and very comfortable. When coming to Ireland we would not think of staying anywhere else. It is convienent to everything the Southwest of Ireland has to offer..

I traveled Europe for the past eight months with my two daughters. In all of our travels, all of the hundreds of places we stayed, this was by far our favorite! We returned over and over. The pictures do not do this place justice. Each of the cottages (we stayed in 5 out of 6) was cozy, spotless, and felt... More

We first came across the Courtyard Cottages in 2009 more by chance than design following a search on the internet. The cottages looked so appealing. We booked in for our holiday in June of that year and we were very impressed the Courtyard didn't disappoint. Myra and Derry are a lovely welcoming couple. We stayed in one of the middle... More

Myself and two friends visited Courtyard Cottages for two nights over last weekend. Our experience was absolutely fantastic!! When we arrived at the cottage Myra (the landlady) was there ready to greet us. She showed us around the cottage and after some friendly suggestions about our stay she allowed us to settle in. Not only was the cottage immaculately clean,... More

We stayed at Courtyard Cottages early December during Storm Desmond. We had a wonderful Irish welcome from host Myra with lovely scones, wine and chocolate in a welcome pack awaiting us after a day long drive.
