I landed at Castle Hostel by chance and it turned out to be a warm and hospitable place. The dormitories are well-kept, beds made and toilets clean; the kitchen is well equipped and breakfast is provided; wi-fi facility, transport time-tables and the hostel's proximity to the bus station makes it a convenient place. Tralee is a beautiful place, with much...

Convenient location- a short walk from the bus station with my luggage and guitar landed me at Castle Hostel, which is situated along the main road in Tralee and a few minutes walk from various shops, pubs and restaurants. I really appreciated that wifi, towels and lockers were provided free of charge, and the hostel itself was reasonably priced. The...

The owner is really nice and takes care of everything. We stayed with a few friends in a private room. The price was really cheap and included light breakfast and wifi. Would recommend this one for sure :) Would come there for a second time if around!

The man who runs this hostel is so nice and so helpful! I was traveling alone, but didn't feel alone at all with the atmosphere of this hostel! I had a private room, #2 at the top of the stairs, and it was lovely! Tralee is a beautiful area, I highly recommend it!

The hostel is located on the main street (road) of Tralee. It is surrounded by many fast food places and a big parking space. The rooms are quite small but they are clean and very well isolated. They have TV and free wifi. Breakfast is quite basic but enough. The owner was very nice and gave us very good tips...

We only spent one night here but it was great. Smack bang in the middle of town, friendly owners and cost next to nothing. Basic but very good. All the bars and takeaways are only a stones throw away. Tea coffee and a selection of cereals available for breakfast. All in all very good value.

My partner and I arrived with our 3 kids 10, 5, and a baby, Stephen welcomed us and was extremely helpful with the luggage and buggy, and was very nice and had a laugh with the kids. The room had 2 double bunks and 1 single -maybe a tad small for 5 people but was very comfy and clean.Tea/coffee cereal...
