My husband and I came to Ireland in May for a 10 day extended whirlwind trip. This was the third place we stayed on our driving tour of southern Ireland and boy was it great. The initial view of the building was just breath taking. You can see from some pictures posted, you really are staying in a castle. This...

We really enjoyed this hotel. As some other reviewers have mentioned, it feels like you're staying with friends who happen to live in a castle. So it's a bit like a quirky old house, but if you're open to that then it's really a fantastic place. And a reasonable price to stay in a castle! We stayed in the Yeats...

The wife and I stayed here for a night on our way to the Cliffs of Mohr. It is a small Castle hotel and they have a great attention to detail. We were greeted by hotel staff and given the Moore room on the third floor. They brought our bags to our room. We ate in their pub for the...

Good- -----Beautiful building - so interesting and full of history! -----Great value for what you pay, especially for a castle stay. -----Nicely decorated for Christmas. -----Very friendly staff. -----Bed was very comfortable. -----Breakfast was great and cooked-to-order. The chocolate croissants were better than those I ate in France. The room it was served in was a beautiful atmosphere to start...

We arrived around 4:00 PM to be welcomed promptly, escorted to our room and then offered tea, coffee and treats. Ballyseede is truly beautiful! They were decorated for the Christmas holiday and our room was fantastic. The room was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and had the most comfortable bed! We also had dinner in the fine dining room and it...

We arrived at the castle midday. From the start, the staff treated is great. We were provided prompt, excellent service. Our suite was amazing with a wonderful view of the gardens. My wife loved the bathtub. Just relaxing on the grounds, enjoying the tea, or sitting in the gazebo was a pleasure in tranquility. The bar was excellent, as was...

We took a short break at Ballyseedy Castle and it was just perfect ! Staff and surroundings were just excellent - we will be back ! Ballyseedy Garden Centre and Ballyseedy Woods close by. Toured around Fenit and Banna Beach, visited friends, relaxed and enjoyed the Kerry hospitality.

We stayed here for a hotel reception. one night 158 Euros nice room but no breakfast included some of the guests managed to get the wedding price for 120 with breakfast included. Whats good: beautiful rooms i think the ones on the 1st floor and above might be nicer than the ones on the ground floor (we compared with other...

This felt more like staying in someones family estate than a hotel. That being said, expect that things are not brand new and an old house has its quirks, like many stairs. However, you are treated like family! We checked in to the Japanese Room overlooking the main entrance. Comfortable bed, tv, wifi, fireplace, tea pot, iron, hairdryer, all in...
