Decided to have a meal in Grand Hotel bar but it was full. Was told that early bird was available in main restaurant. A bus load of tourists had just arrived in restaurant and we wondered would we be delayed . Were shown to table and even though restaurant was busy we were dealt with as if only customers there.... Myself, my wife and my little girl were staying in Tralee for a wedding elsewhere in town and wanted something to eat and on a whim we went to the Grand. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by member of staff who directed us to a table which as it was very busy we were pleased to get.... More

I stayed here during the Rose of Tralee Festival from August 14th until August 19th. Hotel booking sites said that I couldn't get all the nights I wanted, direct contact with the hotel proved otherwise. The previous review says that this hotel is noisy, yes it can be during the festival but only really on the very last night. If... More

Unless you are desperate, don't stay here. Very very noisy. Door rattled so much we had to put a door up against it. Reception didn't even ask how our stay was as I'm sure they are used to complaints. Very small bathroom and bed. We r not fat either just in case u were wondering.

Stayed for one night on way to dingle. Sorry we didn't stay there for all 3 nights. The welcome by staff was top class, the room was huge clean and decorated well. We had a double single and two camp beds and a cot and there was still plenty of room. We were told there was a function on and... More

What a great hotel. From the moment we checked in until we left everything was wonderful. The reception desk, bar and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful! The area is beautiful and town is just a short walk from hotel.

Centrally located for Tralee shops, great stop off traveling from the ring of Kerry to Spanish point. Overnight parking available just along the road. My sister and brother in law had a room at the front of the hotel. They were disturbed by late partygoers until early morning. I would suggest anyone really needing a good nights sleep to request...
