I hiked 50 miles of the Dingle Way and this B&B was where we launched our trip. I thought our room was clean and comfortable - and the owners were nice. Breakfast was filling/yummy. My only complaint is that this B&B is not convenient to local pubs/restaurants on a rainy day. (Would not recommend walking for about 15 minutes in... More

My folks and I spent a wonderful, restful night at peaceful Lurraga House, where Valerie took excellent care of us. Probably better care than we deserved! She toted us around, fed us a hearty breakfast, and then dropped us at the trailhead in the morning. The beautiful, clean beach is within close walking distance, and the local pub, Ashe's, is... It was my first experience at a B&B. The room was quite small but cosy and the bathroom clean. The breakfast was good and our host was very nice and helpful without being intrusive. To be honest, we were out of the B&B most of the time to spend time in this beautiful area (Dingle peninsula and Iveragh peninsula)

We had a beautiful short stay here. The only negative was that the directions were a little difficult for us to follow. The whole place was beautiful and homey and we loved the flowers and birds outside. Our host made an exceptional breakfast and we would definitely recommend this beautiful little place.

Stayed May 2015 in one of the self contained apartments with stove, fridge, microwave but good B&B rooms also available in the beautiful house. Friendly, gracious hosts, full Irish breakfast. In a working farm (cows, sheep, ducks, turkeys, geese and hens) so great for kids. This is reviewed by a retired Australian couple.

Stayed for one night when touring, and cannot think of a single thing to be critical about. Highest standards throughout, very welcoming. Will definitely use again if we return to the Dingle peninsular, maybe we will try their self-catering unit. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely views of the mountains from the gardens.

I stayed for two nights at Lurraga House B&B at the start of my walk along the Dingle Way and I had a fabulous time. Valerie and Anthony are exceptional hosts and made me feel very welcome. I was able to chat with them for some time before heading out to start the Dingle Way. As a family they built... More

My traveling companion and I enjoyed a very nice afternoon, evening and night stay at this B&B, which was wonderful to arrive at and to have warm shelter from strong winds and rain! Beautifully clean, lovely cozy bedroom, with a bathroom somewhat on the small side, but had a very good shower, and a cute little skylight. A conservatory, separate... More

Yes, we were really happy to get a sight of Lurraga House after a really long first day on the Dingle Way (Tralee to Camp under rainy weather in the Slieve Mish mountains), but the real pleasure started when our hosts welcomed us. Both were very friendly and gave us valuable information, great ambassadors of the Irish welcome. The room... More
