The host was very kind and patient with us, we arrived at accommodation late evening due to afternoon flight and getting lost on the way (sometimes garmin likes to play tricks). Rooms are comfortable and breakfast is very good. Nice walk to visit castle and city center.

We were two couples looking for a night in Kilkenny. The place is very well kept. Room are clean and well maintained. Shower is a bit small but not problematic. Breakfast is very good. There is a guest room with sofas, coffee/tea, Ireland guides and books. Location is on the main road five minutes from drive from the center.

We stayed for one night and were disappointed by the unfriendly nature of the female host. Room was fine, adequate, nothing special. The man was quite friendly and did his best to ensure we were comfortable. A big problem for us was the smell of cigarette smoke all through the corridors coming from the home of the owners attached to...

The owners of the Auburndale B&B were great. Very nice and gave us wonderful suggestions of places to eat and drink in town. I would not suggest walking to town as it would be a true 20min walk. However the cleanliness, hospitality, and wonderful breakfast make this a must stay.

Our room was facing the main street but the sleep quality was good anyway. The room itself was really clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was huge and the hosts were...
