Stayed in the B and B for 6 weeks while I was working in a nearby hospital. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there. B and B owner is very welcoming, approachable, and goes out of her way to help make your stay a good one. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in Kilkenny.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. Bedroom was large and the bathroom was spacious as well. Great water pressure--the morning shower was always a great way to start the day. Breda prepares a wonderful breakfast to order and makes sure you have enough food to last all day.

This B&B was very good. Lovely and clean room with bathroom, great breakfast (full irish, cereals, fruits, brown bread, toast, jam...), very good location (20 Min walk from the centre of Kilkenny), very friendly landlady Breda (gives a lots of infos abot the city and around and a map of Kilkenny). Thanks Breda!

This was our first visit to Ireland. I am so pleased we stayed in Kilkenny, and with Breda. We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. She gave us a lift to town twice, and pointed out what to visit and where to eat and enjoy entertainment. The bedroom was lovely, the shower was hot, and...

My mother and I recently stayed at Avila B&B for 2 nights and Breda was so nice. She was very knowledgeable of the area and offered places to check out in Kilkenny City. Breakfast was delicious both days and filling both days. She was pretty close to Kilkenny City. The wifi worked great and had no issues with it.

It is a great place to stay! Breda was more than nice and she made our stay completely lovely. Rooms are very good sized and the house is quiet. She offered us four different types of breakfast and all of them were delicious! The sausages from the Irish breakfast were so tasty! For sure we will come back! Amazing place!

Excellent Bed and Breakfast, very friendly and helpful hostess, lovely breakfast, within walking distance from the town. The BandB is very close from a little hotel where you can enjoy a nice drink and food, warmly recommended if you are planning a stop in Kilkenny.

The house is located on the main street that goes through the heart of Kilkenny, but you are far enough out that it is quiet at night. Plan to drive into town unless you REALLY like walking. Breda is a fantastic hostess. She put up with our special requests with a smile, and she was very helpful in recommending where...

The twin room was large and nicely furnished. However, one could hear quite distinctly the noise of steps and voices from the neighboring room (although the people there just spoke normally). No noise from outside, so later at night it calmed down, and we could sleep fine. The bathroom is OK, except there were no glasses there (and we had...
