This place is a short walk to Kilkenny Castle. The building is older but the rooms are very clean. There are tiny TV's but the breakfast is good. You're not going to stay here for creature comforts but if you want a safe, solid sleep, this works. Just be quiet if in the hallways late.

We recently stayed overnight at this well situated B&B. Caroline was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and overall comfortable but traffic noise impedied restful sleep. Some plumbing issues need addressing. Owner needs to make minimal investment to bring this B&B to life, including replacing old style TVs with flat screens. Nice varied breakfast with eager staff willing...

Dear guest, thank you very much for your review. I'm pleased that you found us to be friendly and helpful. I guess when you are right in the middle of a large, busy town it's going to be a little noisier than if you are located further away from the centre. We had all of the windows attended to recently...

This is a special B & B that could not be in a better location. You can walk to everything. Caroline, the owner is such a lovely person and went out of her way to accommodate us 2 extra nights when we fell in love with Kilkenny the first night. Her kindness, friendly nature assures I would never stay anywhere...

This B&B is close to the city center and castle, but away from much of the night activity. We were able to walk to all of the sites in Kilkenny, as well as to the restaurants and grocery. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful.

We stayed two nights in this B&B and I have to say our stay has been very pleasant. Rooms are clean and the staff very nice. In addition the breakfast was delicious. They have a small parking or else you can park in the street beside (paying). Well located within walk distance to main attractions and quiet at night. Just...

Stayed there for just one night and it was ok, not great or bad...ok, just like the breakfast...it was ok. Host's made us very welcome, bed was very comfy and room was clean enough but well below the standard we paid for. Hole in the wall behind door (noted on someone else's review in July) taps on sink moved when...

Dear Nicola, in your own words "if you write a review, make it correct"! I was extremely surprised at your review as I spent quite a while chatting to your husband and yourself and you both told me that you had really enjoyed your stay. You even took a business card and said you would definitely be back!!! First of...

Parking was a little tight but otherwise the B&B was very nice. Helpful staff. Walking distance to everything. Nice breakfast. We were only there for one night but enjoyed being able to walk to dinner and just about everything else we wanted to see while in town.

O'Malley's was a lovely little B&B, situated just 5 minutes from the main street, and the castle. Beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was lovely. Got a good full fry. Sharron was a great host. Great value for sure.

A lovely 2 day stay in Killkenny wandering the town. Stayed at O'Malley's in a twin room (2 single beds) with my sister. Great little ensuite too. All very clean and tidy. Great location to town, just walk down street. Caroline was a delight - very friendly and had good referrals. Breakfast was the best we have had at B&Bs....

This B&B is in a great location! Close to the medieval mile and castle but off the busy streets. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend to others. Make sure to come early and make in the small parking lot or just pay 5euros and park on the street for 23hrs.
