I was pleasantly surprised and is a lot nicer than the website gives it credit for. We stayed midweek and enjoyed it. The breakfast was good but the bar food was just average. The location was very central. It was a very reasonably priced three night stay which included breakfast for 119 euro.

We stayed here on Sunday & Monday nights Sept 21st & 22nd. The hospitality, efficiency & friendliness of all staff members is to be commended. The Kilford Arms hotel, Great staff and I couldn't fault their hospitality during our recent stay with them, It was my sister hen last Friday the 19th of September. The accomadation, staff, food and location were great!!! I have already recommended this hotel to friends and I will happily stay there again on any future trips, Nicole.

stayed here over the weekend. within minutes walk to Kilkenny city centre. Location very good. Room basic but had all the essentials and was nice that there was complimentary water. Had dinner in hotel restaurant - i ordered a veggie lasagne. It was not a great size portion and a little expensive to dine there overall. Breakfast was very good....

We entered the hotel through the bar after parking but they have a lovely reception area from the main street. Hotel looks really well from the outside, beautiful hanging baskets and well mantained. We stayed in this hotel mid week and really enjoyed our stay. On arrival staff greater us warmly and with a friendly smile. After going to our room which was clean spacious and nicely decorated to went to the bar for a drink. The bar man Michael was friendly and chatty telling us about what was on in the town...

Great location right on the main street and super close to the train station and all of the attractions in the city center. We had 32 steps up and down to our room. It was like an obstacle course. Not sure we ever went the same way to from it. Some of the rooms were a little old but full...
