We booked the Rosquil House for one night, but when we saw how nice it was and all there wa to see in Kilkenny, we wished we had more time. Rhoda met us when we got there (after a hectic drive from Dublin on the wrong side of the road) and made us feel very welcome. She gave us a...

Of the 5 Irish B&Bs and hotels where we stayed, this one had the best breakfast, the best value for the room, and the most hospitable innkeeper. Although the rooms were spartan, they were very clean, charming. and comfortable. Great beds. Most importantly, Rhoda was a delight and full of useful information. When we left some of my Mother's personal...

Six of our family stayed one night and it was the best B & B of our stay in Ireland! Not only is it immaculate, well-designed and furnished, with wonderful breakfasts, but Rhoda and Phil were very helpful in helping us find a B & B at our next destination. I highly recommend Rosquil House if you stay in Kilkenny....

Rosquil House is just perfect! This is a very modern Guesthouse - Guesthouses in Ireland are required to meet unbelieveable standards as compared to a B and B. Rhoda has lived up to the task! Everything at breakfast is homemade. Let me tell you - I forego eggs each morning so I would have room for the best homemade Muesli...

Even a tub in the bathroom :) Breakfast was probably one of the best we've had at a place like this. Up to hotel standard, with several cooked alternatives. Outdoor space with chairs and tables, wich was useful...

The premises are situated in the suburbs of Kilkenny and transport is needed to get into town. The proprietors were very welcoming and the room was spacious and clean with a good size en suite fitted with an over bath shower but there was a tendency for water to gurgle in the bath drain when the next room was using...

We stayed for two nights at the Rosquil House. The room was large and spotless. Our hosts, Phil and Rhoda, were charming and helpful, and Phil makes the best omelet we have ever had! Rosquil House is in Kilkenny but not in the center of town. We thought this was great because it was close enough that we could walk...
