Nice staff, but parking lot was full so we had to park 4 blocks away. Lovely view of the castle from our room; however bed and especially the pillows (I believe they may have been made in the 1700's at the castle?) were very uncomfortable. The breakfast was mediocre and there was a long line waiting for a table. Nice...

Dear Guest Thank you for sharing your recent experiences with us. Its always great to hear such positive feedback about our nice staff, great location and beautiful views of the castle. In terms of parking, we have an additional car park within 2 minutes walk of the hotel so it was unfortunate that you ended up parking a few blocks...

My girlfriend and I recently stayed two nights midweek at the Pembroke in Kilkenny City. First off, the location is excellent, Kilkenny is a very small city with everything within walking distance, the Pembroke is situated on one of the main streets, just two minutes walk from Kilkenny Castle. The staff, at reception and in their restaurant were very accommodating...

The hotel was fine, not super wonderful and not awful. More of a standard business person's hotel, I think. Location was very good. Desk people were fine. Parking is available. Location is very good, in the center of things. Breakfast was fine too. By American standards, like a typical Marriott or Hyatt.

Stayed overnight here recently and was sorry we choose this hotel. On the surface it looks good. Bedrooms are clean, large and well appointed. The big let down was the breakfast. It was a buffet breakfast. The food was not hot and the choice was poor. The breads were dry and there was honestly nothing appealing about it. Probably worth...

Dear Happytravellers01 Thank you for your post and feedback. We were disappointed to read your experience on breakfast as we have just implemented a breakfast development project that has had great feedback thus far. I have also passed on the wifi issue to our support team to resolve. We have high speed throughout so speed & connectivity should be premium....
