I've stayed in many B&Bs in Kilkenny in the past but Abbeylodge will certainly be revisited. Myself & my Mam decided on a last minute night away to Kilkenny and luckily enough someone suggested phoning the Abbeylodge B&B. Rosie was so accommodating last minute and booked us in. Our room was lovely & spacious and most importantly spotless. Location is... More

Rosie the B&B owner was more than helpful, such a lady, couldnt do enough for us. The breakfast was excellent, could not fault it. The... More

Rosie hosts an amazing B&B suitable for all. She is a wonderful host, very flexible, helpful and every need tended to. We stayed in a group of 21 ladies and could not compliment our stay enough. B&B is ideally located at the top of the town within easy walking distance to the main centre. Would definitely stay here again over... More

Second time staying in this b&b for the weekend and both times it was lovely! Very clean, cosy and friendly, with a lovely breakfast in the morning all for a great cheap price! And it's only a short walk to the centre of the city so no taxis were needed. I would highly recommend this place 😊

Rosie who runs this B&B obviously takes pride in her Fab B&B and this is evident when you walk in the front door! The bedrooms are all very nicely sized, with beautiful interior and a fab view. Its very homely and you are greated with open arms. I travelled down with 20 people family and friends and every single person... More

I was attending a wedding in Kilkenny in the Newpark Inn and unfortunately left it to late to book into the hotel. But staying at the Abbeylodge was just as pleasurable. The rooms were very well decorated and very clean. The owner was very accomadating to ourselves as she knew we would be in very late. Great breakfast the next... More

I was pleasantly surprised to see bottles of water, chocolate bars for your cup of tea! and shampoo etc provided (some hotels don't even do that nowadays!) Breakfast was lovely, lovely big cups and... More
