We have just spent three nights at the lodge and wow it has been lovely. Firstly the accommodation is beautifully clean and spacious the rooms are as big as our living room!! Breakfast and food is served in the restaurant next door at the garden centre (it might sound strange) but the food is really excellent and at good prices.... More

Pleasant Stay. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, clean and welcoming. We had an excellent continental breakfast including fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and porridge which we were not expecting when we booked. Only downsides are nowhere to eat dinner within walking distance and a slightly tired (but perfectly clean) bathroom. It is really hotel standard and not just a B&B, but... More

Four ladies on a road trip and Ballycannon Lodge was perfect for us. Mary & Dermot were so friendly. Mary produced welcome cups of coffee as soon as we arrived. The rooms were very comfortable, a double & single bed in each room. We were at the back of the building so it was really quiet. As a location it... More

I stayed on the third of July 2016, I was in the area to attend a christening. Fabulous comfortable lodge, the owners and staff couldn't be more helpful. Fabulous spacious room. Breakfast served in the adjoining cafe. Superb food. Great value for money

We stayed here for one night to be closer to the Shannon Airport the next morning. The room was HUGE and very nice! It was a quick 5 minute drive into Adare for dinner which was ADORABLE! Overall, it was a very nice (quick) stay at Ballycannon.

Ballycannon Lodge was our least favorite place that we stayed in Ireland (out of 6). When we arrive, we were met with a locked door and ringing the door bell brought no results. We then notice a sign on the other side of the sidewalk with a sign pointing to "Reception" . The sign pointed to a garden center! We... More

We stayed for 2 nights and were very comfortable. When we arrived Mary, our host, brought us the most delicious cream tea with a scone large enough to have as our evening meal! The room was enormous and so comfortable. The place was quiet and the view from our room was lovely.

Clean, spacious, generous with the heating, big bath, toiletries, hair drier, medium size plasma screen, superb bed, strong wifi, perfect in a nut shell. The entrance is not very straight forward although it was well sign posted. Staff nice and welcoming. They also had fruit and magazines which is a nice detail.

My brother and I stayed at Ballycannon Lodge in early Oct 2015 for about a week. The owners Mary and Dermot were excellent in every way and provided a hands on personalised service that was second to none. The accommodation was very comfortable, spacious, with excellent facilities including free wi-fi. The restaurant provided a complete menu with very good food.... More
