The hotel is nicely decorated with friendly welcoming staff. Some of the furnishings in the room are a little tired but otherwise very good. The breakfast was very nice and appeared freshly prepared. Perhaps the selection was a little short - my wife almost always has smoked salmon when away - but unusually this was not on the menu for...

Having previously stayed here my sister requested that her hen be in the George. From start to finish they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. between changing the amount staying and changing rooms etc, everything was not a problem. When we arrive we were greeted by Gearoid. He was exceptional. Made everything straight forward, arranged for everything to be...

The George is in a fantastic location. Parking located very closeby cost 7.50 for 24 hours. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant owner/manager was entertaining but possibly a little too loud and over bearing. He asked us how our food was but answered the question for us! (I didn't even get a chance to say that it was missing a vital...

Good quality breakfast. Italian restaurant on first floor, only had coffee here but Elaine served us and acted as our tour guide for local area. Overall great experience!!!

After some confusion at the sister hotel, I was put up in this hotel for a night and give a complimentary meal. I must say that this hotel was an excellent hotel to stay in, the bed was very comfy, the staff and service were excellent and the cleanliness was impeccable. The meal in the hotel was an added bonus...

Stayed in the George hotel a couple of years back and found it nice to stay, however having no on-site parking was a bummer. Stayed again recently and I was pleasantly surprised with the improvement with the food in particular. They have re-branded their restaurant "Da Vincenzo" and must admit that the breakfast is very tasty. Rooms are generally nice...

We stayed for one night in the Geroge when in Limerick for a match. There was a great atmosphere in the hotel restaurant/bar with a lot of other match goers staying in the hotel (though not a rowdy crowd). It was E7.50 to park our car in a nearby multi-storey for 24 hours which was handy. The room was very...

A friend and I booked in here for a girly weekend in limerick. The location is great, very close to a lot of shops and pubs. The rooms are lovely, my friend found it a little warm but it was very easy to adjust the room temperature. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The decor...

We were on the tour and stopped at this pub for an evening. The welcome was warm and like most places in Ireland, the food, drink and company was excellent. We would have no hesitation in going back for a drink or r meal.
