Just returned from another very pleasant and relaxing stay 'chez Alex & Rob's'....weather wasn't great but Rob & Alex's warm and welcoming hospitality makes up for it 😊. You guys work very hard at keeping this campsite so clean you deserve a massive clap on the back! We love your clubhouse which serves "great food".....we love your chicken & mushroom...

I found it to be a lovely friendly and reasonably priced campsite. It is not overcrowded with pitches, and has a lot of space. The owner is very helpful and creates a nice relaxed atmosphere. A convenient little shop in reception stocks all the basics. The clubhouse on site is in the style of an old pub, with food and...

We were looking for a one night stop off before we returned our rented VW campervan at facebug campers and then back to nock airport. This site fitted the bill perfectly - the bonus of its location was the clubhouse with its log fire friendly welcome and fresh cooked chicken hot food - all at very reasonable prices. Would come...

We stayed here for a week. It ticked all the boxes for us: hot showers (free), very quiet, and a clubhouse for those cold evenings. They also serve simple but good food in the clubhouse and there was a very nice evening on saturday with traditional music. The owner also makes a very good Irish Coffee. Highly recommended!

We arrived here for easter weekend with our caravan and two kids. The first impressions were good the park was is a rural setting which was very peaceful. We pitched beside the games room for good wifi signal. We were also delighted to discover a clubhouse on site that served food nightly. The two guys that owned the site were...

We are just home from a very relaxing Easter weekend break at Carrowkeel camp site. The site was spotless at all times this included the toilets and showers. Everyone was so friendly with a lovely warm welcome from the two owners who always smiled and waved whenever we saw them around camp. Looking forward to heading back before the season...

A Lovely week spent camping here, loads of space and a pretty, well kept camping park. Bathrooms were clean and staff were helpful. There wasn't a campers kitchen which I am sure was advertised in a camping guide, but otherwise we found it to be an excellent base for getting to see Mayo,

Thank you for your positive review. Just a pity you didn't ask about our camper's kitchen, because we certainly have one. It is however located on the other side of the road, behind our clubhouse. I hope you'll pay us another visit and you're more than welcome to see what the kitchen is like. Alex Peters

We loved the old-fashioned beauty, peace and relaxed feel of this small to medium site. The setting is delightful and well sheltered with plenty of mature trees and hedges. A short drive will have you in Castlebar and it is well sited far enough away from the main road for peace, but near enough to it for easy access to...

Dear John & Lisa, thanks for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We're hoping to renovate and update the toilet block over the coming years. I'm sorry you had to wait a while for your food. Usually it runs fairly smoothly, but sometimes it seems that everybody decides to come over for a meal or take-away. On those...
