I have stayed a few times in Woodside and have never been disappointed. The breakfast is always top class and I was even offered Baileys in my porridge (which was really nice). I had full irish on my second morning and warm scones! The rooms are comfortable, clean and seem to have been recently decorated. WiFi is included and the...

Lovely Bed and breakfast, great room, comfortable and warm, good shower, clean and spacious. A tasty Irish breakfast in the morning with fabulous scones as an extra treat. Very welcoming, easy going hosts.

Stayed here in the triple room with two friends and could not fault the place at all. We booked it last minute and didn't really look into what we were booking. We were very pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome, a feeling which remained throughout our stay. The location suited us perfectly as we had a...

Just returned from a few days in Westport at the most perfect B&B! The weather might not have been the best (rainy & wet) but the warm and friendly welcome from hosts, Helen and Patrice, more than compensated. This was my fourth stay at 'Woodside Lodge' and nothing (as usual) was too much trouble. From the really helpful pointers to...

Really impressed with this B & B. Wonderfully comfortable, spotlessly clean and on top of that the most welcoming hosts. I am a returning customer as so enjoyed the ambience and real taste of Irish hospitality here on my last St Patrick's day visit (although Patrice is French and Helen is Irish). He dishes up a magnificent breakfast. Easy 10...

Everything about Woodside Lodge was fantastic from start to finish. The location is perfect for access to Westport,(5 minute drive) Castlebar and Croagh Patrick. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were given all necessary information immediately e.g. wifi code. The hosts could not be more helpful, providing sticks for climbing Croagh Patrick. Breakfast was fresh and cooked to...

Beautiful warm and cosy room. The owners were so welcoming and were able to offer lots of advice about the area. Gorgeous scrambled egg breakfast which really filled is up for the day. A lovely place! A lovely town to visit.

Although the Lodge is in the city it is in a quiet neighbor. Our room was clean and neat. The bathroom was small even by European standards but this was more than compensated for by the delicious homemade scones served at breakfast. The host was helpful in recommending a restaurant.
