Great location, beautiful wooded estate grounds to potter about in! The house was lovely, and the Pirate theme was great for the kids! History, nature and adventure all in one spot! The Campsite itself was spotless and amenities were well maintained. Brilliant to have a good campsite so close to town and the Greenway ( yay we did it!) We...

We have had a few bad experiences at Westport House Site. We came first time and it was great. Second time we were told if we were back in before ten we would not need a key. We got back at 8.30 and were locked out. An hour and a half we waited for someone to come and let us...

A bit on the pricey side but you do get discounts on activities. It's very close to the town so again you the price could be reflected in this. The staff are very helpful. My only concern was a caravan coming to the site at 2am next to where we were camping and they took forever setting up. The site...

From the time we arrived to departure we enjoyed all the facilities. The staff were really helpful and informative. The kids didn't want to leave one is 2 the other is 9 and they had a ball. Word to the wise when walking into town use the footpath it is substantially longer going via the Quay.

There is plenty of campsite space here but some of it is quite hilly. I travelled solo so was pitching a small tent- it was summer so was busy and I had to pitch on a slope. The staff are helpful and welcoming. There is also security at night which is reassuring as it's quite a large site. There were...

Spent a few nights here with the other half and had an absolute ball. The facilities are great and spotless, the staff are lovely, the house itself and swan paddle boats are great too. Can't wait to make another trip down.

Considering it's a major tourist attraction Westport House is not very well signposted. Once we got there we got a very warm welcome from the lady in reception with lots of info and maps of the site & local area. The site is very well kept, the pitches are hardstanding and very long, but very narrow so the motorhome took...

Caravan site is fine, but is in need for a major refit. There are no water taps or drainage next to caravan and filling up the aquaroll is a chore as the few water taps around the site are push down like the ones used in toilets. The site in general is okay with a good in door play area...

A good sized site with two amenities blocks so you're never too far away from anything. Only stopped for the one night so didn't try out the bar/ cafe etc, however the site is a pleasant 15/20 minute walk through a country park into Westport itself. Staff were really friendly on check in
