A group of 10 of us stayed here for the Fleadh Ceol and it was absolutely ideal. Located 10 minutes drive from both Strandhill and Sligo town and at the foot of Knocknarea the location is great. The house itself is beautiful with a fantastic view. The building may be old but inside is warm and cosy with a modern,... More

We loved our stay at Primrose Grange. Set in the country, we loved the quiet and gorgeous views. The hike to Queen Maeve's cairn is a block away. The location was central to our exploration of Carrowmore. We loved the restaurants in Strandhill. Saoirse was a lovely hostess. We stayed in the lower flat. Tons of space for five of... More

We recently stayed at the Primrose Grange House for 3 days, and we wish we could have stayed longer! The place is very comfortable and spacious, with an incredible view of the countryside. Easy access to Strandhill, Sligo and to many outdoor activities. The management is very friendly and provides ample information about local activities. Great value for the price... More

Spent a long weekend at the Primrose Grange House in July 2013 and it found it just perfect – it felt like a home away from home. The house and grounds have a lot of charm and there is a superb view of the valley and fields below and the sea and Ox mountains in the distance. We stayed in... More

We stayed here for a week in July with family ranging from babies to grandparents and there was something to do for everyone! We surfed on Strandhill, climbed Knocknarea, cycled, went to the races and enjoyed the nightlife in Sligo. The house was beautiful with stunning views and is really well equipped... with everything right down to toys for the... More

I knew from other reviews here to expect a high standard, and we weren't disappointed! We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the spacious accommodation. The personal touches were lovely including toys, a high chair, blankets and a cot for our son, and the eggs etc on arrival. All of our group agreed that we would love to stay... More

Stayed for a couple of nights with a group of friends and it was exactly what we were looking for. Great location- close to both Strandhill and Sligo towns and amazing views from the house itself. Stayed here with a group of friends for the May bank holiday weekend. If you are a mixed group of friends you should be prepared to share double beds. In the main house there are 2 bedrooms, one has a double and the other has a double and a single. The bathroom is a great size and the kitchen is... More
