Nice room but unfortunately no air conditioning and the windows only opened a small amount, also the radiator controls where broken so the room was like a sauna during the night making it impossible to sleep in. The breakfast which we where charged 10 Euro pp was disgusting and limited. The advertised jacuzzi appeared to have been disabled some time...

Good afternoon Andrew, Just to clear up a few points, we do not have air conditioning in our bedrooms and do not advertise the fact we do so, our windows are fitted with safety latches which can be opened further by adults - its a health and safety regulation that is there to safeguard our younger guests. We also offer...

The Great Southern is an old Hotel but well preserved. Staff friendly and helpful on front desk. Rooms were surprisingly well decorated and inviting, cleanliness to a high standard. Buffet breakfast was average and not hot enough for my liking. The steps up to the entrance are a bit of a problem when carrying heavy bags/luggage. Good selection of bar...

This hotel is situated next to the rail and bus station with the town centre in walking distance. The hotel appears to still be living in the 1970 when part of the original CIE group. I felt that I had stepped back in time when I entered the doors. On the plus side the staff are all friendly and helpful....

This hotel has some really beautiful features and has been treated well in some areas, but it misses the mark on details. The entrance and shared areas are lovely, well and recently decorated, and spacious. The carpets are so thick and soft you almost sink into them. The room we were in was small but impressive on first glance with...
