Myself and my wife own a VW campervan and we come up here several times a year for the amazing scenery and the wonderful walks. From the beautiful climb up Knocknarea to the 13th century church past the airport looking onto Coney Island, Strandhill's got it all. Totally recommend for those who are looking for that special campervan spot with...

we visited strandhill camping on the beginning of our trip to ireland and the young lad at the reception saved our camping plans. our camping gear was incomplete so he provided a solution free of charge. we also liked their choice of camping equipment including gas cartridge available for purchase. what a nice stay we had!

Practically on the beach. You can camp in the dunes and are at the center of everything. Small campers kitchen but adequate, laundry, vending machine, and TV. WiFi only works in reception. Large site with plenty of room. Mostly for caravans\vans. I don't mind paying a deposit for the fob which opens park. toilets and showers but you would need...

Lovely place to stay. The walk out past the air field has to be one of the nicest walks we have being on. The park itself is very well maintained we stayed on a Friday night it was very busy. But from 12 o'clock there was no noise. Will definitely stay again

Just back from a 5Day stay at this campsite. To say we are missing it already is an understatement. The 2 lads Tom & Niall couldn't be more helpful with there little weather tips and things to do around Strandhill, we felt very comfortable from the off. The facilities on site are second to none, Campers kitchen, Showers and Tiolets...

Stayed here the 12th and 13th of July. Put our tent up beside the dunes. Was brilliant staying right beside the sea and in the dunes. Great access to the rest of Strandhill and the beaches. Camp site it self was well kept with great facilities the access key was a great idea. Will definitely be back

Very friendly helpful staff. We were camping- 2 families with older teenagers/early twenties children. The campsite is nestled in sand dunes so relatively sheltered from the strong westerly winds and well drained ground which was important because we had a lot of rain. The site is a lovely setting right on to the beach. What can be nicer than lying...

Spent 3 days on the site and found it great as a location 2 minutes from the beach and village. Good mix of camping pitches ...allowing protection from the Atlantic winds which can be bracing to say the least. Showers good at 6 mins for 1.50e .... toilets good and wash up area with plenty of hot water for pots...
