Booked with lidl hotel breaks, it was €111 for a triple room including breakfast which was fairly reasonable. The hotel itself is nice. The room was grand, nothing very fancy but it was clean and quiet. It could probably do with a facelift and some upkeep/ renovation. It was comfortable apart from one of the extra beds which was slanted!...

Previously stayed here when it was the Clarion and the hotel appears to be under renovation as painting was taking place throughout. Check in was ok, however, the female receptionist was obviously having a bad day and a bit surly as a result. We were allocated a room on 2nd floor and it contained 4 beds so no kids sharing!...

Stayed here for a business trip. The room was a nice size and clean although it was extremely far away from the reception through many corridors. It was in the process of getting painted and the paint fumes were extremely over powering. I got room service and I was called twice after ordering by a very unprofessional person asking initially...

Hotel looks big but there isn't much space in the bar. Interior design looks terrible. Hotel looks old. Damaged furnitures in lobby. A lot of dust in the room. Swimming pool is very small and is closing earlier than we were told about it- we were told that it close at 8 and 15 minutes to 8 we were ask...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We are currently undergoing extensive redecorating and the corridors were being improved during your stay, this would have lead to some dust rising and the corridors having...

We have returned from a three night stay at The Clayton Hotel. We were celebrating an anniversary and a birthday and really couldn't have chosen better. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. Bar food was good and the breakfast was exceptional, probably one of the best breakfast selection we've seen. What really made our stay memorable though was the...

However, this time the experience was very different. First of all the...

One of the greatest hotels that we have stayed. Wonderful view of the mountains, great breakfast and excellent service. For a hotel in a relatively small town this place takes the credit for one of the finest in its class and stands its ground compared to counter parts in other parts of the world. Great old world charm, good corridors...
