Don't be fooled by the "professional photo's" ! Hotel was clean and tidy - basic but accomodating. Reception is through a door from the bar - receptionist is the barman - he copes well :-) No food in the evenings so we used the Chinese takeaway across the road - grabbed food - welcome to eat it in the bar...

Was a nice place to stay, the only fault was the woman cooking the breakfast. Very rude person. Breakfast was finished at ten we arrived down at quarter to 10. She told us breakfast was finished at ten and I said " that's grand we'll have four full Irish please" and she replied "yeah what ever". I didn't know if...

This is no luxury hotel but you get what you pay for. They do what they do and they do it well. Room is clean, shower is powerful, staff are friendly, parking is safe. Breakfast was ok. I'd stay here again.

Clean bright rooms. Fairly modern decor & bathroom very clean. Reception staff very friendly & helpful. First impression of location. Pretty mixed. Breakfast shocking: 2 types of cereal, 1 type of fruit & limited choice of hot food & 1 juice - very poor & food didn't even taste god. Lady serving breakfast had no interest in being there. TV...

Stayed here for two nights in Waterford. The room was basic, quite small but had tea and coffee facilities. It was cleaned perfectly. Breakfast was very little choice. Cereal/toast/full Irish, and the service wasn't great here. Good location, about ten minute walk from all major attractions. Free car park nearby.

The is a comfortable spot for a short trip to explore Waterford. Because of the small size of the city, the key areas are within walking distance. Our room was very small, but we had requested a quiet room given the likelihood of a Hen party and so were in a room in the eves. The staff are very friendly...

Driving through an estate to find a newly painted blue and cream building, The Barley Field. Quiet a large bedroom and nice breakfast room. Parked right outside the door for the night but lots of street pay & display parking around.

Stayed here last night and was very happy with d stay. If there is any negative it is that it lacks a lift ( i have a walking disability) but otherwise it was very good and a good price - €45 for a single room. Very happy with room and breakfast was very good. Location is excellent very close to...

The staff and manger were so friendly and helpful. The music sounded great, even muffled all the way to my room (yet not too loud and obnoxious). You get your money's worth of breakfast for sure. Lovely rooms and environment.
