Stayed here in December for a Christmas party. Grumpy receptionists. Food was average. When returning to our room found our room had been raided and my wife's golden necklaces had been stolen of the side table. No forced entry. So someone came in using a key. Grabbed the manager but he didn't have a care in the world. Just looked...

My parents held their Diamond wedding anniversary celebration dinner here and what a disappointment! The hotel looks tired and unloved but the rooms were presentable, if a little tired. The pool and spa were good and reception staff were polite and welcoming. However, the dining experience was a disaster. There were only two waitresses in the main dining room on...

I stayed here about 8 years ago so I was sure that I didn't need to search around for other hotels in the area as I was happy the first time. However, I was very disappointed as the quality of the rooms, dining area and general hotel had gone down quite a bit. The food was very substandard, we had...

My Husband and I treated my Mother and Mother in law for afternoon tea for Mother's Day. When I booked it up the girl at the desk took a little while and then said I can book you in at 3.30 so I assumed they were quite busy. We were shown in to a large room with only one other...

Great pic on website BUT misleading as only some of the deluxe rooms are like this. The older rooms need urgent refurbishment and are not worth their asking price per night (we paid £85.00 per night) They did upgrade us to a deluxe room with a very comfy bed, from the tired carpet stained room first offered. Would be great...

Awful stay. Rooms old fashioned, outdated and unloved. Dirty old chairs in room. Confetti on floor in bathroom and carpet. Bathroom shabby with discoloured pictures and mouldy grout. I can't believe that these standards are still acceptable.

Stayed here twice, October 2014 and Feb 2015, two different but fabulous rooms. The pool is just perfect and the staff are extremely polite and courteous. Very good breakfast. Booked to stay again, says it all.

Had an over night stay due to business. Plenty of parking, friendly staff and the room was clean and tidy. Nice comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast in the morning was very good. The WIFI signal was not as strong as some hotels I have stayed in but was good enough to send a few emails, which did the job....
