Found this place whilst looking for somewhere near Scarborough. It is in a quite village, that is approximately 3 miles from Scarborough. The B&B is comfortable and the room was large, bed large and comfy and the bathroom was a decent size too with a good deep bath, the shower was adequate but not very powerful. The meals were excellent...

Arrived after a tough day of walking from Whitby. A very nice Pub with nice spacious rooms and friendly polite staff. Good choice of excellent beers . The pub had a nice atmosphere and friendly clientele. Would definitely use again

Food was reasonably priced, service was friendly and nicely done. The real ale was in meltdown as all three ales went off and there was no one to rectify the problem - such a shame. Service was good and food range was excellent - wife said she would go here again, so that always means it was acceptable.

Received a very friendly professional reception and was shown to a very nice spotlessly clean spacious and comfortable bedroom which was connected to a large modern bathroom. Returned each evening for my evening meal which is served in the restaurant / bar. All the food was cooked...

We take a short break up to Scarborough a couple of times a year. This time we took a 5-day break in a delightful cottage just outside Scarborough. In the visitors book, The Oakwheel Inn was highly recommended. We were not disappointed. They offer a good choice and range of food in their menu along with a specials board. We...
