We have stayed here several times this year as our son lives close buy. It s a quirky little hotel that offers a different place to stay in London, with different types of room to suit your pocket? We tried the basic room which was poor and due a re-furb, but have more often stayed in a period-room in the...

Thank you for your review, we are constantly reviewing our bedrooms and updating them constantly, we are very fortunate to have such beautiful grounds including our listed farmhouse which accommodates six bedrooms, we are really pleased you will continue to use our hotel in the future.

Average and lacking in personality and staff. Maybe was too early at 11.30am Had blt that was ok £45 for 2 blts, Burger and Brie sandwich with hot choc. Seemed tad over priced Been a regular on and off. Lacklustre on this occasion Food ok but not to shout about. There's more competiton in Ruislip springing up. Maybe cream teas...

Thank you for your feedback, I am disappointed that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion, it is very unusual to hear negatives about our staff as they are usually exceptionally good at what they do, I will speak with the department Manager and raise your concerns.

Booked for a family lunch to celebrate a 90th birthday and coming the furthest we stayed overnight. This was in the middle of a Bank Holiday, with a separate Wedding party and a Hen party at the venue yet the maitre d' and his staff made the occasion so relaxed and enjoyable; not in the least hurried and with attention...

We have stayed 2 times and we have hosted our family at this hotel on 7 different occasions. The room in which you will get is an absolute lottery, from an out of date tatty tiny box room through to a luxury spacious room. It unfortunately seems that it's a 4 to 1 ratio of tatty box rooms to a...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I was disappointed to read that you feel our rooms are worn, we are constantly improving the quality of our accommodation and include some of the best rooms in the area, we have a variation of room standards and sizes but each one of them I can guarantee is of...

Reception, bar and restaurant were very nice with welcoming staff. Bar food was good but the stay was a let down a little by the room. The bathroom was very small with poor water pressure, the bedroom was also small and a little noisy. I would stay there again for its convenience but would request the room rate was representative...

Breakfast was a buffet and you have a choice of English or continental- waitress even asked how we would like our eggs. Bar staff could not do more for you. The rooms have been renewed and most comfortable, staff were very friendly, Very easy to get to Heathrow awa Eurostar train. Adequate parking, free WiFi. Breakfast...

My partner & I stayed for two nights to attend a friends wedding taking place in the hotel. The entrance to this place is situated off a small roundabout so ,although there is a large sign indicating the entrance ,it could be easy to miss when coming by car. The receptionist handled our reservation easily. Our room was an adequate...

I booked The Barn Hotel for a quick stopover in between jobs when I didn't have time to get back to Cardiff in between them. The hotel is excellently located about 100m from the Ruislip tube station which makes for a very easy commute with a small walk in the morning. On arriving at the hotel there was plenty of...

Stayed at the Barn for one night. The room was tiny and smelt of cigarettes. The bathroom was also small and rathy tatty with poor finish. I couldn't even shower properly as the shower hose was leaking and the pressure was poor and I couldn't get under the shower head properly as the plug etc stopped you being able to....
