The Premier Inn Peterborough (Hampton) hotel garners appreciation for its comfortable beds and clean, welcoming atmosphere, with many travelers noting the convenience of its location and the friendliness of the staff. Despite these plaudits, guests have called out several issues, including noise disturbances, problematic room temperature control, and additional fees for parking. While the cleanliness and family-friendly environment are highlights, reviews suggest that the value offered by the hotel may be diminished by overpriced rooms and meals, as well as slow restaurant service.

I’ve been staying here for business regularly for over a year now. Outstanding staff, in particular Stefan. He’s a credit to the Premier Inn organisation. Professional, polite and always there to help customers. If you’re in the area, this is the only place to stay!

We checked in really fast and was soon in the room ,the room itself was large and very clean but was very hot the digital reader on the wall said it was set at 27c we tried to turn this down to make the room more comfortable to be in but this did not work i tryed to ring down to reception but was cut off 3 times so i went down to ask for someone to come and look at it for us as well as getting some towels as we had none in the room i was told that the was nothing that anyone could do and was told to open window and point a fan at it to help to cool the room down ,this did not help was still to warm so we decided to go out for some food . When we got back to the room the room was still very warm so we had to have the fan on all night which was not ideal as it was quite noisy but it was the the only way to get some sleep . We woke up next morning got ready for breakfast in the on site restaurant we was sitted fast and was told how the breakfast service was going to work due to covid which we was happy about but looking for the continual breakfast we was told that most of the items was not there as they had run out so we had some of the cooked breakfast which we had to order and was brought to us we had to wait 20 mins for it to come it was not the best products the bacon was dry and tasteless the sausage was more like cocktail sausages which they managed go burn and was more like eating coal i let that and asked for some porridge which after 15 minutes i decided to cancel my order and walked out please dont eat in there and waste your money there are lots of food outlets within walking distance of the hotel its fair to say that we will not be stopping here again .

Stayed here with my friend for 1 night. It was easy to find with a big free car park. Check in was quick and easy. As you walk into the spacious room there 's a head mirror with a shelf that has a hairdryer within it. Then there's a hanging unit with a drawer at the bottom and a full length mirror on the front. Next was a free standing fan alongside a desk which had a bottle opener at the end and a desk lamp plus tea & coffee facility on top of it. Above was a big wall mounted flat-screen TV which had sounds problems. One of the corners had a long couch type bed settee. The comfortable standard bed had bedside tables built into the headboard with lams also incorporated in the headboard too.
The bathroom had a single sink with a large mirror above and a bath with grab handles and the shower within it. There were body/shampoo dispensers for use.

This is a large Premier Inn on three floors with most rooms off an incredibly long corridor - I estimate 100 metres in length. The rooms themselves are stylish and spotless. Parking is abundant and the staff are friendly and efficient. Many shops and eating options nearby with public transport access to the city centre.

This Premier Inn is well placed within walking distance to shops, supermarkets and eating places. I ate at Brewers Fayre attached to the Premier Inn the first night I stayed. I found it quite bland. There are other eating places within walking distance such as: Toby Carvery and Frankie & Bennys, just to name a couple.

However, the room was quite spacious and clean. It has Tea-making facilities, a hairdryer and a spacious clean bathroom. It can get a little noisy depending on who's in the room above you.
The breakfast was a choice of cooked and cereals, jucies, tea and coffee. You helped yourself from the buffet.

NOTE: if you want breakfast included, make sure you book this when making your reservation online.

Check-out was easy; just put your key card in the plastic box in reception.
I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights, asked for a room on the top floor and got one, right above the hotel entrance and next to the pub…not ideal.
Too hot to shut the bedroom window so just had to put up with the noise and smoke from the outdoor seating area at the pub.

Bedroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, found a lot of hair and bits of crisps/peanuts on the floor.
Toilet roll dispenser is a joke, one square of toilet roll at a time and it was a quarter full when we arrived in the room, had to ask at reception for toilet roll and got a half used toilet roll.

Room like an oven despite keeping the windows open and leaving the fan on all day.
Beds need looking at, especially the base as it creaked and groaned whenever anyone moved.

Situated just off a main road but walking distance to many shops/restaurants/fast food.
Oddest thing was the big newspaper factory across the road that played a recorded message over a loudspeaker at random times in the night (talking about trespassing and it being a security issue)!

It will be more true if they did not claim to offer 'free wifi', the decent wifi they have is on paid 'premier Inn Ultimate wifi' which they provide you a code for. I was offerredfor free but I am still diasstified as I expected free functioning wifi. I settled down to work only to have to return to reception at 2am to sort out wifi access on two nights. Not good at all. Will not recommend this hotel if you have to work and rely on wifi when back in the hotel. My low rating is based on the wifi experience, apart from this, It's a great place to stay.

Travelled from Wales to visit family. My first ever stay with Premier Inn and normally go for the more expensive hotels but thought I would give them a try. I spent £93 for 3 nights which is an absolute bargain and really did have a good night's sleep 3 nights in a row! Young girl who checked us in was extremely friendly wish I had a name but she was small with blonde hair and glasses. I then went down to grab some extra pillows and again she was incredibly helpful. Most hotels I stay in are quite dissaponting whne you see the room to how you seen the pictures online however the room was literally as you see in the pictures so we were extremely impressed with that! I shall be staying with you again Premier Inn! 10/10

I had a problem with the other Premier Inn as it had no accessible room available even after I had booked it.
This got resolved as I went to the Hampton which with help from whom I believe was Beverly got an accessible room which was comfortable and easy shower entrance with seat. I usually try to stay in Premier Inns but I recommend you ring them thats the actual Inn to make sure they understand your booking . Do not reply on the main booking system as it seems to drop back to double room from accessible room.

i like this hotel because it is relatively peaceful. It is set four to five miles south of Peterborough, in a district named Hampton. However, you can get a bus [— number 6, from Peterborough bus station] to the nearby shopping mall, Serpentine Green.
The walk from Serpentine Green to this premier inn is only 4 minutes long.

The rooms are finished to a good standard and the bathroom is very clean, which i appreciate.

The receptionist when i arrived at the hotel was Stefan. i found Stefan to be very helpful and patient, especially with my requests etc. It makes a big difference, i feel, when you are greeted well and you are made to feel welcome.

i would definitely recommend this place, partly for the hotel itself — but also because of the peaceful location and extensive shopping facilities. Shopping is England’s primary, if not exclusive, religion /contemporary mania, after all!
