I booked here as a resting place before my next stop,in my travel journey. I had a nice room, with a big screen tv, and it was close to all the restaurants and pubs. I would recommend it for the all night lifers out there, because you can have a good night sleep after a long night.

Needed somewhere to stay as all other hotels were full because of the Barbershop convention. This place reminded me of a student house I used to share in the 60's - shabby, broken or missing fixtures, carpet of indeterminate colour because of ingrained dirt, fellow residents who were down on their luck coming and going. It's not a hotel, more...

We arrived in Harrogate and eventually found this "hotel". There was old furniture stacked in the hallway and no reception desk. We eventually spoke to a man who said he was a resident there and that the rooms were rented accommodation and not a hotel. He then pointed out a hand written notice on the door which said all guests...

Gave up after 2 hours waiting. Was eventually "greeted" by an angry man after calling out to work out where reception was only to be told it was not a hotel. Signs of drug use, filthy conditions and no sign of any staff make it a disgrace this is even listed on reputable websites. Thankfully was able to find somewhere...

I should have looked at the other reviews about this place because they are all true. It was clear that this room had not been cleaned before we arrived. The worst bit about this disgusting "hotel" is that we had to walk 100 yards up the road to another hotel for breakfast in the morning - nowhere in the listing...

The worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The room was dirty and had obviously not been cleaned. The lock on the door did not work properly, and we had to move rooms the second night which was just as bad! Avoid at all costs and a complete rip off.

We booked for two nights and stayed for one, booking into another hotel. The room was so filthy we slept in our clothes. The door could not be locked from the inside, there was a broken window, the TV did not work. The taps dripped constantly in the rickety bathroom. The bedding looked like it was something from the 70's....

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We phoned to book a room advertised, at the last minute, in their sister hotel and were told there was none left, but we could have this one for £50 - we shouldn't have paid £5 for it! We arrived and phoned as the intercom was not working,...

Booked this so called hotel as my wife and I needed a last minute place to stay next to the (HIC) on buisness. We first thought something is very wrong with this place when we looked at how dirty it looked when we walked through the front door, the member of staff did not have our details even when we...
