We, (myself, Mother and sister) visited the Majestic for an overnight stay to celebrate my Mother's 70th birthday. The three of us had a family room(221) which had more than enough room for us to sleep comfortably, a double and a single, I believe the sofa converted to a bed too. The decorations could have done with some updating in...

The Majestic is very well situated in the middle of Harrogate, the refurbished rooms are excellent and th reception staff tried to make sure all members of our party got a refurbished room! The manager in the restaurant on both of our stays was very helpful and made the special Birthday we were celebrating a great occasion. We were allowed...

We stayed for a one night break on a Groupon deal which included dinner bed and breakfast and a bottle of wine. We spent the afternoon in Harrogate and had a few drinks at The Pitcher and Piano which has recently had an update and has a really nice atmosphere. The room we had was absolutely huge with an enormous...

The Cairn Hotel across the road was so awful that I went here. I have eaten here before and it didn't disappoint either time. The staff are pleasant and attentive and the food was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Booked weekend package through "Secret Escapes" to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Tried contacting spa beforehand to book treatments but no response on phone or via e-mail. . Check-in was fine. Managed to book treatments in spa for both of us on day of departure. Room was large and well decorated but one curtain did not fit and so let in...

We stayed for 1 night with friends on a Dinner Bed & Breakfast deal. We all agreed we had value for money. The food was ok no complaints service was good. The Hotel is a fantastic building stunning but in need of refreshment the swimming pool was no better.

Just had a weekend stay at this imposing hotel, which looks amazing. The double bedroom was huge with one of the biggest beds I've ever been in, very comfortable too, the room was well equipped as well ,instant hot water , with shower over a bath. The breakfasts were very good and the staff impeccable. We had the afternoon tea as...

Got back today from a largely very nice stay at The Majestic, there seemed to be a few works parties in at the same time but didn't really affect us apart from a delay at the bar when they all congregated before they went into their private function room. The evening meal was very nice in a lovely setting and...

We were bought a nights stay at the Majestic via a groupon for Christmas. Wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews…. It was definitely not 4*, I'd say it was a 3 at best. Hotel in general is very, very tired. I can imagine in it's day it was THE place to be but unfortunately it would need...

the hotel is grand and beautiful so drop in to admire the architecture but no more. I had a large and well appointed room but that doesn't help when it's cold and I couldn't have a hot shower or bath. I did seek help to housekeeping but this just moved the shower from cold to tepid after running the shower...
