We had a lovely spacious room on the 9th floor. Bed was very comfy, room was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. Modern en suite facilities with shower. Large breakfast room serving a variety of hot and cold food. An enjoyable experience.

The hotel is still undergoing refurbishment which it probably needs as it looks a little tired. However, the room was very comfortable and quiet, so it was possible to get a good night's sleep. I had dinner in the restaurant and I thought that the food was well cooked and presented and portions were the right size. The buffet breakfast...

Still being refurbished but not a problem. Miserable minimalist foyer is not exactly inviting but rooms are comfortable, clean with good hot water, fridge and tea making facilities. Not that quiet as the insulation between bedrooms not that good. No swimming pool. Breakfast buffet adequate, limited and very busy at weekends. Underground parking at £7 per day as is the...

Following our poor review last year we were offered complimentary B & B following refurbishment. We checked in Friday 17/2/17 & were allocated room 601. Firstly have to say Reception staff were pleasant & welcoming. Our room left much to be desired in that the bathroom wash basin was cracked right across & therefore unhygienic and looked like it had...

A quite outstanding hotel with quality service and staff. A surprise 2 night stay for my wife that I thought wasn't going to get off on the right foot as we exited the lift into a makeover set with bare plaster and decorators beavering away, needn't have worried as only hours later, work all done, carpets laid and furniture set,...

I booked the Holiday Inn as part of a conference and I must admit that my past experience of the Holiday Inn brand has not always been great but I was more than pleasantly surprised in this case. The hotel is located in the centre of town and is an 8 minute walk from Harrogate railway station. It is located...

Decided to spend a relaxing weekend away following the hectic Christmas festivities. Booked this hotel using rewards points accrued during business trips. Arrived in underground car park and headed for the reception using direct lift. The hotel reception was undergoing refurbishment and we were checked in swiftly. Opted for a double room on 11 floor with nice view across the...

Really nice hotel, convenient location for the town centre. Good facilities, nice room and huge bed. The staff were also very pleasant. The breakfast was really excellent, the only downside was the black pudding was a little dry. One of the lobby's was being re-decorated and I'm sure it will look fantastic when it is finished. The decorators were very...

Visited for a birthday celebration. Hotel undergoing work in foyer but no mention on website when booking. Inconvenient as caused major queues. Rooms good quality, beds comfortable and bathroom clean. Breakfast ok, pastries slightly crispy, dry and overdone. Centrally located for walking into town. Overall would recommend it for anyone staying in Harrogate.

Many thanks for your review and I am sorry if you were not informed of the refurbishment works. Queues do happen at times but you will gage from other reviews that this would normally not be due to the works in progress but perhaps peak check in/out times. I do hope you will return soon to see the final stages...
