I stayed here on a coach holiday from Devon. The building is beautiful, with spacious public areas. There was plenty of room between tables in the dining room and the food was excellent. Starters were ordered form the menu and the main course was from the carvery. There was always a good choice of dishes and the food was hot....

It's obvious that this hotel has been a beautiful building in the past and there is still some evidence of this particularly in the lobby and the dining room where there are some gorgeous stained glass windows but i'm afraid this didn't extend to the rooms. Our room no 223, although clean, was very dated the carpet was stained and...

I booked this hotel through Groupon for £89 and what an incredible bargain it was. On arrival we were given vouchers for a glass of prosecco, coffee with biscuit and 10% of lunch. The evening meal was excellent with a good choice. Breakfast was equally as good. Some parts of the hotel needed an update but out room was spotless...

The food is to a high standard with plenty choice, my husband is gluten free and he had choices too, he usually only has one dish....

Decent hotel. Stayed on a group on deal which was great value. Food was decent, nicest beef I've ever had. The room had been refurbished and was really nice (we paid for an upgrade). Some of the common areas need a lick of paint doors for example. The only downside was the evening entertainment. The singer was bad and there...
