We're just back from a two-night stay in Harrogate, The Welford was ideal for us. Easy to find, with parking permits so we could park right outside the door. A lovely, friendly welcome from Judy who even helped carry our bags up to our room. The bedroom and ensuite were bright, clean and well-maintained. The same good service was evident...

Our 4th visit yesterday, January 27th, to the Welford to see the fabulous Judy & Richard who should be nominated for host & hostess of the year. This home from home cannot be faulted in any way. It really is " The Tops ". Look forward to seeing you again, soon.

Booked this at the last minute. Judy and Richard were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Their house is gorgeous, built in the 1800's and retains all of its period features but all the facilities are very 21st century and quite luxuriousBreakfast was excellent. Parking outside in the street was no problem whatsoever so don't be put off...

Victorian town house, well decorated and appointed. Slept like logs. Ideal for walking in to town and to nearby restaurants. Richard and Judy(no not them!) made us very welcome and gave good advice on where to go and how to get there. Eg. "Go to Knaresborough by bus. Only costs £2:50 "
