We stayed here last weekend for one night and had a great stay. This was our second visit to The Welford, after first staying nearly two years earlier. Safe to say the standards haven't slipped - Judy and Richard are fantastic hosts who serve up great breakfasts and provide lovely rooms. Can't wait to return on another visit to Harrogate!

Stayed at this lovely B&B for 1 night on our way up to Skipton. Great location just a few minutes walk from the main shopping/eating area of Harrogate. On road parking in front of the house. Very warm welcome from Judy who is a great host. Very good breakfast and comfortable, if rather small, bedroom with ensuite shower/tea/coffee making facilities....

Warm welcome, convenient location for centre of Harrogate. The Welford has comfortable rooms, wi-do and offered one of the best breakfasts I have had in a B&B with fresh fruit, gluten free cereals and home-made sausages. Very highly recommended.

Very convenient location, excellent breakfast with home made sausages and proper fresh fruit, wi-fi that worked easily first time - good combination and recommended. Our particular room was not large but the shower worked well and we had none of the irritating wear and tear issues that so often make rooms seem tatty and over used. A lot of care...

Judy and her team looked after me and my team very well whilst we were exhibiting at a trade show. Great breakfast. Clean and comfy rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. The free wifi was very handy as well. The room was clean and I liked the tea and biscuits !! Thanks again for a great stay. Would recommend.

As a solo traveller staying purely for busy work commitments, I was after a good nights rest in comfortable surroundings without breaking the bank. This ticked every box and the hosts Judy and Richard couldn't have been more helpful, Will be back next time I'm in town.

I can find no reason to dock any points from this guest house. There was a warm welcome from host Judy and the room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the choice was amazing (including fresh fruits) with full English if required. The location is two or three minutes walk to the local shops and...
