We dined here with friends and all six of us had a fantastic meal. The mixed grill is huge and hearty, the steak and mushroom stroganoff was really tasty, the belly pork with red cabbage was amazing. Not too pricey, good sized portions, nice atmosphere.

They have great knowledge of the local area and were very accommodating! The pub & restaurant used by the locals too which is always a good sign! The views from the hotel were amazing definitely...

Had a very tasty, reasonably priced meal at The Wellington Inn. Generous portion so think carefully about having a starter! I had belly pork with dauphinois potatoes and it was absolutely delicious. The Wellington burger was humongous. Service was efficient but not overly friendly but not unfriendly if that makes sense. Would definitely go back/recommend. Nice setting.

A large pub for the area but the staff and customers made us very welcome. We didn't eat but had a few drinks. Sadly the only slight winge would be the lack of good local real ale. It's in a lovely area and very handy for Harrogate.

We stayed, with our dog, 1 night for our wedding anniversary. Although we live quite near we wanted to enjoy our meal and not have to drive home. We certainly enjoyed our meal! We both had the haddock and leek fishcakes for our starters, they were delicious and well presented. For mains I had chicken stuffed with Wenslydale and my...

Stayed for one night with my Daughter for Bed and Breakfast, in the Balcony Room! Lovely clean room with everything in that you could need (except for soap, only hand wash liquid, so bring your own!) The bed was so comfortable but the Balcony with the Views were spectacular and Breath taking and to wake up to a sight like...

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago, the pub is in a lovely setting with great views of the Yorkshire Dales, and particularly from the conservatory. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We had one evening meal which was absolutely delicious, the breakfasts were ok apart from the eggs were always overcooked which ever way...

Slow service, staff all looked miserable. Food was ok, burger dry and tasteless but the rest of table enjoyed. Wouldn't return or recommend. Plenty of better pubs in the dales. Beer selection not great either. Needs a bit of investment in restaurant area.
