Super Service, Beautiful Room with a great breakfast. Excellent Value for money during Cheltenham week. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and the view over the river marvellous. We would most definitely stay again.

Small, overpriced, room. Door fittings hanging off outside and inside. Indifferent staff and to cap it all the restaurant was closed. Room was cold and the under floor heating took forever to kick in. When one books a restaurant with rooms it is expected that the restaurant is open. To find it closed on the night you arrive, with no...

Stayed here as a valentines treat, post-valentines weekend. The hotel was warm, nice and comfortable, the bathroom was fantastic - a power shower over a spa bath and a waterfall shower out of the ceiling, that turned the entire room into a wet room! There were fully-stocked tea and coffee making facilities. Free WiFi and digital television available in the...

We stayed at the wharf for our first wedding anniversary. It's a lovely little hotel on the bank of the river Severn. There isn't many bedrooms so it's very quiet. Room was lovely and spacious and lovely homemade biscuits added a nice personal touch. It doubles as a restaurant in the evening but can't rate as we didn't eat there....

Travelled with another couple and were given the top of the house which is a suite with a small lounge with an en-suite bedroom at either end. As there is no bar or lounge here it was ideal to relax before and after dinner. The accomodation is OK, reasonable sized rooms but the shower in our room was slow to...

We were going to Birmingham for the weekend but last minute plans we picked here instead. The hotel is lovely but just a little odd, you have to fill in your breakfast form when checking in, I found that frustrating as I was not going to know what I wanted the next day. Wish you could just pick that morning....

We arrived on Sunday 8th, having to phone in advance as after 4.30pm you are restricted to get in our 'fined' £20.00 for a late arrival . We arrived to find a pitch black walk from the car park to a locked dark reception area. Not great in the cold , wind and rain. Trying to read the number to...

Found this place by chance online, and booked it. The rooms were of a high standard, very clean & modern with in room coffee/tea. The breakfasts were all pre ordered the night before with lots of options which were lovely. A few issues with our stay, the shower had no hot water one evening & the following morning it was...

This is an absolutely excellent place to stay. The room was spotless, the ensuite had a bath - not just any bath but the luxury of a SPA BATH!! The toiletries were all paraben free and smelt delicious, which you can buy on the premises. The staff were friendly and helpful - many beautiful smiles and the location is great...

An AA Red Rosette 4 Gold Star Restaurant with Rooms serving quality freshley prepared produce. 7 lovely ensuite rooms of real character with views of the Canal or River inclucing one ground floor room with independant access which is suitable for dogs and is fully accessable. We would strongly request and advise advance Reservations for the Restaurant. Signature dishes such as Venison rolled in Walnut with a sauce of red currants with a hint of Dark Chocolate and vegeterian and fish dishes that show imagination feature. Please note that we do not have a childrens menu but welcome young diners who will not disturb our other guests and wish to experience the normal a la carte menu. Our menus are designed as three courses, with side dishes available for those who wish, but the option to choose less courses if you wish less. We also offer both an Original and Vegeterian 7 course Tasting Menu. We would recomend bookings at least 48 hours in advance as some dates can be booked weeks in advance. ... more   less
