My first impression of the room was "gosh its small" but actually it was ok. There was a shower and loo added into what would not have been a big room to start with but the design was good. The shower was plenty big enough not cramped at all and there was enough space to get dry. Sink outside this area not sure why but not a problem. Tv mounted on wall over door, right angle to watch from the bed. Room to get dressed but not to walk around. In practice it didnt bother me. Breakfast self service in dining room but with covid easier to take it back to room. Reasonable choice too.Half a dozen or so choices of cereals and jams/spreads. Toast yogourt cheese slices. Fruit juices and tea/coffee. Also use of fridge and microwave. Park just across rd opposite and short walk to docks, city centre and cathedral. Parking 3 spaces on front and 3 spaces opposite. Otherwise road fairly full. And a lot of driveways so couldnt block them. Not sure how many of other car spaces opposite were private for other houses. My only issue, bed quite worn, matress not flat so not that comfortable to relax on but didnt keep me awake at all and didnt give me any back trouble so mot a real issue.

I stayed only one night here but really liked it. The room was very comfortable. The self-service kitchen was great and the staff were very friendly. It's away from the centre of town but no more than a fifteen minute walk and no more than a ten minute walk to The Docks, a new development on the river. I'd stay here again.

This guest house is spotlessly clean, and I was met at the door by very friendly owners. The bedroom was large and airy - and WARM on a cold winter's night. Ensuite was everything you could expect. There is a communal dining room for do-it-yourself breakfast. It's well stocked and the large stainless worktops are immaculate, despite the number of people using the place. Altogether a great place to stay on a budget. It's about 15 minutes walk to the city centre. I wouldn't want to walk back from the city late at night ... the lovely Gloucester Park, which it overlooks, is a bit scary after dark!!! Get a taxi.

I had to sort out a problem and I sent to the hotel a couple of emails but they never reply. Even expedia couldn't speak with them. So rude. I booked a room but, due to that problem I cancelled it. I've tried to write to them for asking a refund, that's why probably they never reply.

twin room , one bed in the window bay. a put you up type of bed. the tv was so small and high up you need good eyesight to watch it. no need to turn the cold on in the shower . if you are a little large you will not be able.to shut shower door. does and don't ie don't face time people ,.talk loud on telephone as you will disturb other visitors etc. it's like being a child again.
