I recently booked a room here for my Australian sister for three nights, as she was visiting me and my Partner locally. I went with her to check in. Wonderful reception! Very well cooked and presented breakfast by Diane. Very good parking space. Convenient for the Cotswold canals trust restoration project. Robert always willing to offer any assistance he can to make your visit more enjoyable.

Made to feel very welcome by Robert , lovely room with a VERY comfortable double bed, ( not slept as well in many years). En suite was just right and shower was lovely , shampoo, shower gel and hand soap provided. Tea, coffee , hot chocolate and water in the room every day which is a lovely touch. Stayed here...

Stayed for 2 nights on 2-3 August. A very friendly reception from proprietor Robert. Brookthorpe Lodge was very comfortable,spotlessly clean and very good value for money. Breakfast was excellent and there was ample parking. Robert,s recommendation for dinner locally was also spot on!

We only stayed one night but it was wonderful! We had two rooms, a double and a twin, both with ensuites. Robert made a suggestion for a restaurant for dinner, and it was very good. We will recommend Brookthorpe to friends who may be traveling in the area.

Stayed from 24th to 26th of February 2016 and have to say it was wonderful and We were made so welcome . The room was spotless with a lovely en suite, plenty of tea and coffee and ample parking. Lots of breakfast options with an amazing full English with the best poached eggs ever (Thank you Dianne). Can't wait to...

We only stayed one night, arrived late in the evening when we were tired. We found this place on the side of the road, we were very welcomed in and given good advise where to go for dinner that night which was a oud about a Klm down the road. The host was very friendly and the room was very...

We stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend. We had two rooms- a twin and a double, both with ensuites. The rooms were very clean. The owner, Robert was very friendly and took an interest in our plans for each day and was able to suggest suitable walks. The breakfasts were lovely. A good stay. free Wifi.

Stopped over en route to a meeting even further down south. Nice little place Friendly owner Bit of road noise but not at night Excellent breakfast supplied Bed a bit on the firm side and TV very small but free WiFi performed well Handy decent eatery (pub) called Fagans 2 minute drive away.

Arrived earlier than expected. Host was very accommodating and catered to our every need. Room was lovely. Breakfast was awesome! Definitely great value for money. Will use again the next time we are in the area :) gary and Suzy

“Our rooms were on the top floor. The hotel is on the side of a fairly busy road so if you can ask for a room not overlooking the front. Having said this, it was not noisy during the night and we only were not bothered by any noise.”
