I booked my 60th birthday party at this hotel, I had also used this hotel for my 50th birthday party and my 30th wedding anniversary. Service was good then and even better now The Events Manager, Zoe Santin was excellent and ensuring everything I wanted was done. She offered many suggestions on how the evening would run. All great ideas which made my evening so wonderful. Mary and staff ensured the evening went well. Chris was friendly, nothing was too much trouble for him, many guests commented on this. Adelina was very nice, as were the ladies, Emma and I think her name was Shirley, on reception My room was upgraded and I was sent a bottle of Prosecco on ice to my room. Lovely surprise! The room was clean, bathroom lovely, plenty of towels.

Just had a fantastic 2 night break. Hotel and room was very good and the breakfast buffet was excellent with regular fresh top ups of the hot food. Had one evening meal of fish and chips with a chocolate brownie for desert both of which were superb. A final big thank you to all of the staff who were brilliant with nothing being too much trouble. We will definitely be returning for another break soon!

To start our experience off we was welcome by Emma who was absolutely amazing! We stayed in the chatsworth which was beautiful. We used the indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna and it was all free with the hotel it was beautiful! Will definitely be returning. Thankyou for the amazing experience and thankyou again to Emma!

we arrived for a New Years Eve Package. Emma, Mary and Lynda on reception were great sorting out a room for one our party with mobility issues and ensuring dietary requirements were passed on to the chef before serving us with a lovely afternoon tea. New years eve party was a great success special mention to Emma and Chris along with other waiting staff and the the two young men behind the bar. Nothing was too much trouble we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Teresa and other staff welcomed us with a smile for breakfast next day. Lunch and our evening meal was lovely with really good choice of food on the menu. Overall I think the staff deserve a really well done they are a credit to your organisation.

From entering the hotel the reception we receive was very warm and friendly our room was comfortable and clean . The staff were so attentive and could not do any more than they did . I found my dietary requirements were very well catered for and generally food was excellent with lots of choice . The party we attended was amazing which was helped by the staff joining in and a very good DJ . Overall we had another great new year with this special hotel.

We stayed here many times before Covid and this is the first time we have been back since they re-opened. We were pleasantly surprised! Everything worked - heating, heated towel rail, shower, TV, WiFi etc. The place felt clean and efficiently run, the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The only niggle in the room was the air conditioning controller was not apparently syncing with the cassette unit on the ceiling. We ended up achieving a steady 21deg temperature by setting the hand controller to 16deg. A suggestion for improvement would be to fit electric vehicle charging points in the underground car park. This could be done easily with reception having a monitor to charge guests for electricity used. This would make this hotel an even more attractive option.

A very smartly presented hotel well designed. Stayed for the 3 night Christmas package which included all meals. The room was nicely furnished and the bed comfortable. The one negative for the room (119) was that the wifi signal strength was very poor and did keep dropping out. Very frustrating ! For the meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner - the quality and presentation could not have been better. Excellent would be a well deserved description. The menu choice was very good. The bar did close early, surprisingly - the latest 11pm and on one night 10.45pm. Not really appropriate for the festive season with the hotel pretty full. The staff here were very attentive and noting was too much trouble for them. Evan, Rita, Luca & Lorna were deserving of a mention for their helpfullness. Overall a very pleasant stay over the Christmas period.…

If you book a family room for 4 months in advance be prepared for all email correspondence to state family room for three. Be aware that if you want your room cleaned and cleared of rubbish you have to read the small sheet in the room and put a hanger on your door by 8am to have it cleaned. To use the complimentary pool as a family you can not use until 8am and after 7.30pm, not all of the time open. Requesting a late checkout be prepared for the answer ‘no’ due to lack of staff, and mentioning that you will be in touch with head office the reception staff are very grateful, so after having to stack rubbish outside our family executive room, not having full use of the pool, no clean towels or made beds, no option of late checkout and generally a uninspired service we are wondering what further delights are in store when checking out in 10 minutes. Mediocre all round this time and on top of that I’m pretty sure we could have saved money booking just prior as the hotel is so quiet.…

I had a fantastic evening with my friends at a Christmas party. The value of the evening was great, food was to a great quality with great service in particular Evan who was very attentive with all our requests. In particular I was also impressed when the manager realised I wasn’t drinking alcohol so arranged for additional options to be made available, I have to say that was just amazing service.

Great value party night b&b stay as our works Xmas do was at the hotel. The food at the party was excellent, as was the disco, getting the fun toys out with the bacon just before midnight is a great touch. The rooms are very largely sized with nice views of the area. Nice big baths in the bathrooms. All the staff were excellent.
